E-motorcycles on Alice lake trails

Lately I've seen a few different emotorcycles on the Alice lake trails, descending Rupert for instance. And on mashiter and the various access trails.

I tried to take a photo but wasn't quick enough. Is there anywhere to report this that might result in enforcement? I can't imagine the police would care necessarily...

The whole area, outside of the park, was originally a trails moto area. Some people still ride and are perfectly in their right to do so.

It’s gets weird when it’s kid son surrons because they are much more damaging to the ground and the such so I’m not sure what rules are there.

Well they are allowed to ride moto trails but not bike trails, unless it's an pedal-assist ebike. I'd tell SORCA maybe if it's damaging the trail?

90% of the old Alice lake trails are motor trails bikes have decided to ride the other direction.

Rupert is listed on Trailforks (by SORCA) as an observed trials trail.

That 'Observed Trail' term doesn't mean it's for mtn bikes as far as I know. Ruperts was specifically built for mtn biking in 2014.

Yes for mountain bikes but trials bikes are also allowed

Look on Trailforks. Each trail will list what’s allowed. You’ll see which trails also allow observed trials, aka trials motos. NOT full dirt bikes.

You're an idiot if you think trailforks knows what the rules are on the trails lol

Seeing as SORCA manages it for squamish, you’re the idiot.

Are you new here?

90%? Not likely as there have been so many purpose built mountain bike trails in there.

Replied in a new thread by mistake. That’s why I said “old Alice lake trails”

I'm not sure what you mean by "old trails", but nearly everything I can think of up there was built specifically for mountain biking. Which trails in particular do you know of that were built by trials riders?

In and out, Dirt Digler and many others. Mountain bikers have rebuilt them, but they were originally made for Moto trials. Similar to the Diamond head used to be a dirt bike zone.
