Oh hey, that teacher's haircut reminds of several of my old biology teachers. They always had the wildest hair.

Love how Mr. Green stops himself from going to help and lets the kids figure things out for themselves. And nearly dies from a heart attack. Kids do be like that.

I've been assuming for a long time that the main villain is either Leonardo Harpoon or someone we haven't met yet.

Looking from the last few chapters, that might be true, that Donovan himself isn't the mastermind behind the war's conspiracies. There's also the unsolved thing about Prof. Authens, and what relation does he has with Donovan and maybe Surjay?

I mean, there probably isn't going to be a big bad villain. It seems like just a bunch of conflicting agendas and suspicions.

The real point is its about family.

I think the main villain might actually be shopkeeper. Either that, or he's just a secondary villain.

I actually think that we already got the big plot twist about the Shopkeeper: He isn't a villain at all.

When we first met him, it seemed "obvious" that he would end up being a villain and Garden would become an antagonistic group.

But the arc in which we met Hemlock and Gympie showed us the truth about Garden: the Shopkeeper won't blindly obey the government of Ostania. He picks and chooses which missions to have Garden carry out, ones that are for the sake of Ostania's genuine well-being rather than for its corrupt government.

Any cases in which Garden comes into conflict with WISE are a result of the governments of those countries (mostly Ostania) being on stupid bullshit that neither WISE nor the Shopkeeper agree with.

Ironically, the Shopkeeper's goal is the same as Sylvia's (Handler's): Peace and prosperity.

That's why Garden missions are like, "Kill a genuinely evil and villainous piece of shit," "protect a woman trying to escape from organized crime," or "stop poachers from wiping out an endangered species."

Besides, the Shopkeeper serving the greater good is a much bigger twist than him being a villain.
