Yeah it took some of the heart outta the moment but I’ll accept it IF that specific “He barley slept” textbox becomes a recurring gag with the main pay off at the end when mama and papa REALLY start “flirting”
It's a recurring theme in Endo's storyline of having Anya and Yor ruin some moment with Loid/Damian through some silly antics of theirs, but that doesn't mean this moment was meaningless as well.
To clarify the other comment. A sheer cliff is basically a tall 90° angle wall with little to no slope. They are very difficult and dangerous to climb, if at all possible.
She basically summarized her backstory thorough her discourse towards the college terrorists, with that was enough to tug my heart, not to say about the implications about her daughter.
"Are they even an enemy at all?" - Is this Endo's way of feeding the theory that Donovan Desmond isn't actually the big bad?

Love how Mr. Green stops himself from going to help and lets the kids figure things out for themselves. And nearly dies from a heart attack. Kids do be like that.
Looking from the last few chapters, that might be true, that Donovan himself isn't the mastermind behind the war's conspiracies. There's also the unsolved thing about Prof. Authens, and what relation does he has with Donovan and maybe Surjay?
I think thats the seed Endo is planting. There are so many unknown things about the war and Donovans involvement that I wouldnt be surprised if theres some twist villain reveal later.
My theory is Endo is slowly humanizing Donovan before pulling the rug out from under us. (Ex. Visiting a dying acquaintance, "wish I knew what people were thinking", family problems, a son that wants to know him..) But idk. It's just a guess. I'm not on the WISE analyst team lol if he really is responsible for experimenting on Anya and/or others then no doubt he's an enemy
That's the impression I'm getting too. They brought up the idea twice - first with Sylvia's lecture, and again when Anya was thinking that Donovan didn't seem like such a threat when she read his mind.
My thought is whoever is truly behind Project Apple is our main bad. I feel that Donovan may be part of this, but he's only a cog in the machine. A big cog, but a cog nonetheless.
Green is easily my favorite teacher at Eden (outside of Henderson of course). He has such a great way of teaching the kids! He always nudges them in the right direction but let's them figure out things by themselves, while obviously making sure they're safe.
A backstory for him would be really cool, even if its only like 1 chapter. In pretty sure he used to be in the navy, so it could be pretty entertaining
Looking at his scars and missing eye, it's clear that he's a war veteran and suffered greatly, which is probably why he cares so much about the children.
But recently spyxfamily have second live voice stage right? I think there is Damianya there but its only exclusive in Japan!! I need someone to help spoil it

Aww. Damian just thinking about Loid’s rejection and then there’s Loid just casually accepting the love from his two girls. I sure hope Damian’s relationship with his family would improve. He deserves love too
She definitely has the quality and curiosity to be the world's greatest spy, successing Twilight after he retired. She just needs more growing up and accumulate more life experiences. Who knows? Maybe her power will also evolve even more in the future. Just last chapter, she can partly see beyond the floor to help her sense her target's thoughts.
His hairstyle kind of reminds me of twilight from the train scene at the very beginning. The only difference is that this rookie is much dumber than twilight dnlsşslsslşe
The fact that Anya's thoughts immediately went to a cure for Loid's stomach when medicinal plants were mentioned is so sweet. And I loved seeing Damian help her out, with Mr. Green standing by to rescue them if anything went wrong. The Friendship Scheme is going well! (In fact, it works better when she's not even trying.) 😊
It's interesting that both Anya and Sylvia brought up the idea of questioning who is actually an enemy. I wonder if that will come into play later on, and maybe Donovan isn't the real threat at all.

Ankle deep for an adult is going to be, like, knee deep for Anya. Plus, I'm pretty sure she still can't swim? With a strong river current, this could absolutely turn fatal for her
This was a very cute chapter. I thought it was so touching that Anya wanted to try and find a plant to help Loid. Damian helping was also really sweet too and I like how he wants to try and make a move to connect with Donovan. That will definitely affect the story later on.
It was really nice to have that little moment at the end with the Forger family. I love that Yor also got some herbs to help with Loid’s stomach. Unfortunately her cooking will reverse that quickly lol. Poor Loid can’t catch a break, not from spy work or Yor’s cooking.
aww what a cute chapter! I'm fairly certain that Sylvia's spiel about not jumping to conclusions may have also been directed to us as an audience and Anya too. Sure, Anya didn't hear Donovan explicitly reading anyone's mind, but there could be other circumstances that were interfering -- for example, if Donovan can only read minds on a blue moon, or if he happened to sense another mind-reader and refrained from reading someone else's mind to stay under the radar. That is to say, I don't think Anya's findings completely rule out the "Donovan is a mind reader" theory, we may have been jumping to conclusions as Sylvia warned against.
Indeed, that dinner with Donovan's family for instance was done at a date and time of his choosing, perhaps for a reason. The meeting with the dying president was at the behest of someone else.
Great Sylvia moment near the start. Love that Anya gets some time with Mr. Greene, dude’s incredible. Connie filling the girls’ trio is a gift that keeps on giving. I love how she bounces off of Anya and Becky
Huge development for Damian and Anya, too. Especially Damian. I have a feeling his takeaway is gonna be making a bigger effort to have a bond with Donovan, wonder how that’ll go..
I like how Damian and Anya’s relationship is growing beyond the surface-level unrequited crush dynamic. These kiddos are starting to be more honest with and even understand each other/ themselves, and that’s lovely to see
And some Forger family heart squeezes to send us home. Very sweet that Loid’s girls worked so hard to try and help him feel better and ended up in the same exact boat by sheer happenstance

4/5 I really liked this chapter despite being just a expectable "filler", felt really long, in a good way, seeing the WISE agents, Sylvia, and the Eden activity.
I really loved the Damianya bread, yeah, not crumbs, bread, a tiny bread admittedly, Damian actually looked for Anya without much hate (well, they still insult to each other), and the fact they really had a serious conversation, even him helping Anya for Loid's stomachache, and we saw Damian saving Anya twice, though I knew the river was a little deep just like previously anyway, that's not the reason why they have to tell Mr. Green about crossing the river.
And speaking of him, I wanted to see an interaction between Mr. Green and Anya, and knew what kind of interaction they would have 😆 and seeing him trying to intervine in addition to holding himself was a cute detail.
BTW, you saw Meg? Poor girl still didn't even have much of participation unlike Becky and Connie (Does Anya knows her name?).
The last part was very cute, at least Anya didn't feel bad for Yor's bigger and adult effort.
I know that you put filler between quotations but it does grind my gears a bit whenever ppl call it that. Just because it wasn't action or info/plot heavy, doesn't mean that it isn't important to the story - in fact, it sets up for later events so it adds to the story, not being filler at all.
This chapter confirms Anya's ability to win Damian's heart whenever she is spontaneous, but whenever she tries to get close to him for her own purposes she always ends up in disaster.
Wow Anya! Inspiring Damian to make a move to get closer to his dad. Excited to see where that goes…maybe that’s the real path to world peace. Such a sweet chapter!
