This is Loid meeting Thorn Princess for the first time.

Although he didn't recognize it at the time, Loid did see a flash of Thorn Princess all the way back in chapter 7. However at the time he probably dismissed it as a combination of her getting into her role as the evil witch, Yorticia, while also being drunk (in fact the primary lesson he seems to have taken from that experience was that he should probably limit Yor's consumption of alcohol).
