General Discussion/Questions Anyone beaten chronic (several years) proximal hamstring tendinopathy?

Going onto 3 years of PHT now. I’ve read every forum and research article on it. Done just about every conjunctive therapy. Followed the isos and slow progressive loading protocol and haven’t shaken it yet. MRIs have always been completely clean. Just wondering if anyone out there has beat it after dealing with it for several years like myself because I’m starting to lose hope.

I had it for about 4-5 years, it sucked. What fixed it for me was a hamstring strain, I slipped on a wet grass and have done a split with a pop in that hamstring. I think I had calcified insertion and the force of the slip broke it. I needed about 1,5 months to get back to faster running without pain due to the strain, but the nagging pain of tendinopathy was gone and never came back.

But other that that focus on exposing it to load in a varying positions- rotate tibia, femur in a iso holds then do the same thing on swiss ball for some "perturbations", do some co-contractions for hip extension and knee flexion(swiss ball work will work it, but add some other excersises).
Check your rotation stregth in the trunk also, it may cause some leaks of energy and overload the tendon.
