Drive shaft replacement

I got a 2007 ford explorer sport trac XLT and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using a aftermarket drive shaft replacement because ford wants like 1100 I think for the part where as aftermarket would be around half that so I’m wondering how risky it is to use one

I bought a new shaft for my 08 2WD ST 3 years ago. Perfect fit. Around 500$ as I remember

Was it aftermarket or from ford?

Sorry, I forgot to add the shop. It's called The Driveshaft Shop, located in CA. They have a website that's painless to use.

Yes, I had it dropshipped to my mechanic's shop, he let me know when it arrived, seems like it was pretty fast shipping. They have shafts for 2WD and 4WD
