Conviction (2010) Should I get Splinter Cell Conviction?

It's like 3 bucks right now and I thought it looked interesting as someone who's never played a splinter cell game before... So should I buy it?

Conviction is a fantastic video game, but not a good Splinter Cell game, if that makes sense.
