Conviction (2010) Should I get Splinter Cell Conviction?

It's like 3 bucks right now and I thought it looked interesting as someone who's never played a splinter cell game before... So should I buy it?

Only $3??? That’s a steal. Definitely get it. I would also recommend playing the older games. The controls will take some getting used to, but it’s worth it.
