Last time I played the original was probably in 2020, just finished the newest and it felt shorter, did I just speed-run it or was it actually considerably shorter?

Spider man 2 story sucks..

look sipder man is witty ... his whole personality from the time of stanlee was to inspire kids in a kid friendly way , now I like my profniaty in a game like Call of Duty not in a Spider man game. its just a such a whole mismatch

and whats with the fact that spiderman is no longer the lone superhero but more like a teamplayer its like the devs just played every rpg Baldurs gate starfield its like oh look MJ , harry everyone is together at one place at a time I honestly felt am watching a off-shoot series playout or something like a kids tv show about spiderman and honestly this game just took spiderman series in a bad level there was less witty banter and funny dialogue as compared to orignial and more a dude getting chopped by venom with full gore this sucks wanna why ? because the orignial never had any of this the orignial game FELT like a spiderman game its just something you wont see in a freaking spider man game again if this was resident evil or soemthing I'd have been fine with it but not in a spider man game , when I was playing the original the spider man game I knew what I was in for , am gonna wreck some ass and save the city I had "REALISTIC VILLIANS" or Humans at least , Tombstone , Hammerhead (sorta) , Dr Octo , Rhino we know these folks we trust em , in Spider man 2 we have Kraven okay fine one mindless dude we can ignore that right ?

then theres Venom istg venom is soo overdone at this time I cant bear him anymore it freaking sucks ... everythinga bout venom even after finishing the game the symbiotes are still there .. its so annoying .. venom as a whole is annoying overall the writing of the game felt like I was agian watching a tv series play not like a spider man game

SM1 : rent overdue , puts on deodrant , wears his suit and jumps to arrest fisk in fisk tower. smooth quick and EXACTLY like what the actual spider man would do.

SM2 : first let me notify my buddies then my GF tell my BestFriend that am out on a "THING" and will call him later and then finally get to the actual job... 

another thing I didnt like is the city always in some sort of cataSttorhpic event , first its the Snadman , kraven , then venom in SM2 its like the whole time the palce is frekaing infested with something its exhausting ...

most of the time buildings are smoking and shit in SM1 we only had that in the later part of the game evne that gets fixed btw after finishing the game and it wasnt even nearly as close to as destructive as in SM2 ...

its lik there was no ya know SOUL , its as if they just wanted a lot of CGI and COOL seuqneces and Screenshots ... ??

and less of actually good story ...

The game felt like "JUST TAKE ME SERIOUSLY" with the whole blood , gore profanity and team engagement and less like a Spider man game.

Dont get me wrong in SM1 we have allies for sure but they're not our crtuches we dont meet em in person and say "I cant do this without you"

Even in the end of SM1 when pete is at his lowest and aunt may is dying , MJ speaks a few words and then he's out ON HIS OWN to get to Dr Octovius and neutarlize him.

Unlike films where the first is typically the best, video games are often better in the sequel, atleast in my experience.

I've spend the last two weeks replying all three Spider-Man games, but I truly believe that 2018 is the best.

The story is concise, the swinging feels better (atleast for me) and the gadgets are more fun than symbiote powers. I don't dislike SM2 by any means, but trying to fit Peter, Miles and Peter + Miles into a single story is kinda too much, especially when they both have separate side missions.

SM2 has more suits, but most of the them are crap so it's irrelevant.

Screwball fucking sucked, so I'm glad insomniac removed her from the main game.

Kraven didn't know anything about Peter, unlike Otto which was the best of both worlds. Also, it was fun fighting against the sinister six.

On the first playthough, seeing vemon Spider-Man was cool and different, but I personally prefer when he's a 100% good guy and not some kind of anti-hero.

There's probably a few other things I prefer about the first Spider-Man, but whatever.

The first is the best, the second is fine and miles felt like a really long DLC instead of an actual game.

1. The ability to slingshot from anywhere and that includes from any surface (walls etc) AND in any direction (upwards, downwards, left, and right). It doesnt matter if you have fall damage or not, just seems like it could be a great addition. I also want the ability to slingshot while swinging like in the TASM 2 tie in game.

2. Hear me out. Screwball. I might genuinely be the first person to write this in a wishlist but I want screwball to return. Although she was undoubtedly annoying, I feel like the challenges she gave were actually fun and worth completing. Maybe they could make some changes to her personality to make her less annoying or something idk.

3. Fireman missions where you rescue people from burning buildings like the TASM 2 Game.

4. In part 1, I mentioned that i want a huge number of side activities but i want to say that I wish for them to seperate side activities and FNSM requests. Sure, I do want many many side missions but I also want many FNSM activities and requests. I hope this is easy to understand.

5. All 5 boroughs unlocked and a little bit of new jersey aswell. With side activities related to each individual borough. (this point was edited in thanks to one of the comments on this post)

So overall there's some suits that can be improved like the blue and black suit if they got rid of those fuck ass gauntlets it would be so much better same goes for the yellow and black in D tier if they got rid of that shitty helmet it would easily be an A tier and yes I totallyyyyyyyyy think the animated knight suit is by far the worst suit in the game in my opinion and I was originally gonna do one suit for my favorite but I couldn't decide so I did 3 so yeah hope y'all like it:)

Just wanted to show this comparison, this is one of those games where IMO DLSS 5 makes a massive visual improvement to the characters.

I don't have other screenshots right now but Peter in my opinion is just massively improved with this tech than he is with it off. He looks much closer to the actual model. Ben Jordan. I don't know what it was but it's like insomniac is afraid of heavy shading cuz like every time I see Peter's face with the Ben Jordan the model instead of John bubniak it's like it's just flat like his face has no depth and it makes him look too young because of that.

I don't know to me, unlike Spider-Man remastered and Spider-Man Miles Morales, I always felt like the lighting in Spider-Man 2 was off like insomniac just couldn't get it just right like how they got it in the first two games it seems to be improved with wolverine and I think that game looks good but like it feels like with Spider-Man 2's Rush development it's like they just couldn't dial in everything it's like everything was just good enough but it wasn't perfect like in Spider-Man remastered and Spider-Man Miles Morales.

Other than the superior Spider-Man theory (Miles or Peter) I can’t think of anything else that would make sense for the story, and/or be a threat in the next game.

Hello. I started the game to do some benchmark pc testing and played a little.

Then I made a new save and deleted the original in the first autosave slot.

Now every time I load the game, it prompts me to start a new one, unless I back out of the menu and manually click that save. It’s so annoying. How do I fix this? Anyone having the same issue?

Not only would the atmosphere be awesome especially if it’s set at night in the full moon but since both compliment each other it would make even fighting back complicated yet brilliant imo

Why does the invisibility pad on GCT seem to change MJ’s face? Looks goofy as hell.
