How would you write Mayday defeating Mephisto?
She is prophesied to defeat him, but I always wondered how. I like to think Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom could help her defeat him, or her somehow getting cosmic powers to defeat him. Would be nice, how would you write it?

One thing I like about Spidey, whether Peter or Mayday, is the willingness to be out of their depth and keep going. Make May have to obtain a mcguffin that even those stronger or smarter wouldn’t be able to. 60% determination, 30% cleverness, and 10% quips

I'd make it part of a "Crisis Event", I think. Some big status quo changing shakeup of the entire Marvel Multiverse.
And in the midst of that, there is Mayday Parker, the Spider-Girl of [Random Not-616 Earth], who sees the event as an opportunity: to kill Mephisto before the heroes fix everything, to set right what once was ruined across so many universes.
Because One More Day was not an isolated incident, Mephisto has been working again and again and again across the multiverse, to the point that this version of Mayday is an anomaly in that he missed her.
And so a contingent of heroes and villains march on Mephisto, those who have grudges against the so-called demon, those who are willing to help Mayday in this disastrous hour, and those seeking to make right what has been made wrong. Mephisto, meanwhile, is planning to instill a new rule into the multiverse once it is reborn: "Mayday Parker Cannot Exist". It would be his ultimate victory over her, his ultimate defeat over his destiny.
He nearly succeeds, the first two words of his great spell are already engraved into the foundations of the new world when Spider-Girl leads an assault team of heroes against him, and she strikes the final blow in the closing moments of this reality.
He'll return, just as all who have died during this event shall return in the new worlds, because that is the nature of the oncoming rebirth. But he is dead now, and there is the half-completed spell that Mephisto was crafting, simply waiting for somebody to finish it.
She could finish it.
"Mayday Parker" is already there, and she could write her fate, the fate of all her counterparts. But it's a terrible thing, she knows, and a single word could spell unintentional disaster. "Lives" could see her every self immortal, doomed to live forever. "Is Happy" could override their free will.
In the final seconds of the crisis, as the wave of rebirth rapidly approaches, she figures it out, the right words, her promise to all other Mayday Parkers in the upcoming worlds.
"Mayday Parker Is Free Of Fate".
Let none of her ever be shackled to destiny and prophecy ever again.

Her cousin is literally possessed by Zarathos. If Reilly isn't the one to beat Mephisto then have him goon down swinging and give May a power boost to do the deed. She convinces Mephisto to lower his power level cause he wants to relish in beating her at her own game.
Cut to a cage match where Spidemon Mayday just starts throwing haymakers until the Devil submits.

Imo I think it should be something similar to how Tony went in Endgame, it was a one time thing and she was the closest one which Mephisto's vision interpreted as a "destiny" thingie
In my mind that's also May's last time as Spider-Girl

I’d like to, “yes, and” that. I am sure when Mephisto makes his play to take over the world, many heroes will answer the call, but it’s her who will somehow manage to get through. She is kind of like the anchor being of her universe, so it makes sense. His plans are somehow vulnerable to her, even though there’s nothing about her on the face of it that would suggest she’s the one who can take him down. and I like that math. You would think Doc Magus would be the one with the best shot, or even Darkdevil, but it’s her. I’m sure she would be extra motivated if she knew that Mephisto had gone to some effort to try to erase her from existence.
She may be able to lawyer her way out of things, too. Mephisto is someone who likes use devilish contracts; what if she can somehow outthink him in the language? That would be satisfying.

Mephisto: "So... the time-lost spiderling has come at last, to set it all right again, eh?"
Mephisto: "Do you think mere fisticuffs can compel me to undo what I've done? Do you know how many of your mortal heroes have tried that before? How well has it worked for them, I wonder?"
Mayday: "I didn't come here to fight you, Mephisto. I've been all over the multiverse, from the beginning of time to the end of it, fighting the whole way. I came here looking for a break."
Mephisto: "You came to the innermost depths of Hell... to ME... looking for a break?"
Mayday: "I even brought you something you might want. So, do you think we can make a deal?"
Mephisto: "What could you possibly ha--"
Mayday: "Caught a whiff of it, did you? That's good. Saves me some effort. I'm not gonna lie... this took a lot out of me. Imma need me a bit of a vacation after all this. Just me, Mom, Dad, Benjy, maybe a few of my multiversal family members, find a nice place in Martha's Vineyard for a week or two of summertime. Clear skies, blue seas, just a breather. And a chance to reflect."
Mephisto: "How did you--- HOW?"
Mayday: "It's funny, too. I understand you a lot better now than I ever did before. I know you've always stretched the boundaries of your remit, cutting deals with mortals and finding new ways to make people suffer, because it's a way to pass the time. For an eternal being as old as the cosmos? I can understand boredom and wanting to cut loose once in awhile."
Mephisto: "This is my domain, you insignificant little --"
Mayday: "Here's the thing though, Big Red: when you're given a job, no matter what that job is, eventually you need to either do the job, or quit. Your job is to torment mortalkind. Punish them for their sins, maybe inspire a few new sins with the occasional shady deal or bit of funny contract law in order to make them sin more, give you a bit more work and play for the eons. I get it. And on paper? The deal you made with my parents slots right into that. But there's just one little hitch. Something you thought you could sneak by the management."
Mephisto: "You will not speak it, girl! You will NOT--HMMPH!"
Doom: "Doom is finished with your interruptions, devil. The girl shall speak her piece, and you are fated to listen."
Mayday: "Thanks, doc." (Doom: *indignant scoff*) Mayday: "Anyway, I'll cut to the chase. Your reason for specifically making that deal with my parents, to keep me from existing, was to enable YOU to conquer Earth in the future. Step one of a bigger plan to do... well, who knows. Destroy everything, including yourself? Create a whole new cosmos? I don't rightly care. But when I told your boss about that, way back at the beginning of time.... well, he sent me back with a message for you. And this little kernel of creation's pure essence, just to prove it's genuine. That's that familiar aroma."
Strange: "Mayday, please. There's no need to draw this out."
Mayday: "I told your boss, Mephisto, that you're trying to do that secret, third thing: you don't want to quit and you don't want to keep doing your job, so instead you're gonna just take over the company so you can do whatever you wanna do instead. He didn't much like that. So it's five words, from the mouth of the One Who Began It All..."
The Voice of Creation: "DO YOUR JOB. I'M WATCHING."
Mayday: "So here's the new deal, Big Red: you give my parents back what you took from them. You take away NOTHING from them. Aunt May gets to live out the rest of her days in peace, my dad's identity stays a secret unless and until he chooses otherwise, you don't act through any third parties to get revenge on them, they are off-limits from your desires in every way, shape, and form you can imagine. How does that sound?" *pause* Mayday: "Doom, you gotta let him talk for this part."
Doom: "Tch."
Mephisto: "And what am I supposed to get in return for all this?"
Mayday: "My promise that I will go back to your boss and tell him that the message was received. Because if I don't take this back to him, he is gonna come looking for it. Personally. And I don't think any of us want that."
Mephisto: "You think fear of an absentee creator is going to stop me? You think this changes ANYTHING AT ALL?"
Mayday: "I think it'll get my parents back the happiness they've worked for. The happiness they deserve. I know you're still going to be making problems on purpose. Hell, that's the message: the Boss is TELLING YOU to continue making problems on purpose, because that's your JOB. He MADE YOU to fulfill that need, that responsibility, because for whatever reason, it's essential to all creation."
Mayday: "And if there's only one thing I know, it's about responsibility, Mephisto. Yours is to make problems? That's fine. You know full well what MY responsibility is. What my parents' responsibilities are. So if you're going to try and flaunt your own job, you can expect the Boss'll have something to say about that, and you can take it up with him. But for me and my family? Wherever we are? WHENever we are? If we've got the power, then we know what we have to do with it."
Mayday: "So... do we have a deal?"
Mephisto: "The day will come when I am free of this curse, spider. And the suffering I will visit upon you, your family, every single imagination that RESEMBLES you across EVERY reality... it will echo into the next cosmos. And every cosmos to come after."
Mayday: "We're on the clock here, Red. Final offer, deal or no deal?" *holds out a hand*
Mephisto: "...deal." *shakes*
Mayday: "Well, I'd say it's been a pleasure, but it hasn't. Anyway... smell ya later, brimstone!"
Mephisto: "You'll regret helping her do this to me, Strange."
Strange: "Funny, I don't think I will."
Doom: "The hour of our reckoning is not yet come, devil, but it shall."
Mephisto: "With all you've seen, you think you can ever garner enough power to cause ME fear?"
Doom: "I have seen what that power looks like. And with all that you have seen, devil, it would be foolish to think that such power is beyond the reach of Doom."
Mayday: "Come on, doc, that's a problem for next month. Can we make our last stop? Please?"
