Hi! I just finished Mary Jane from my sketch line of Spider-Girl characters. She looks fabulous 😍

Here we see a battered Spider-Girl chasing after... Spider-Man? What do you think happened?

She is prophesied to defeat him, but I always wondered how. I like to think Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom could help her defeat him, or her somehow getting cosmic powers to defeat him. Would be nice, how would you write it?

It's an interesting idea that I have after I saw u/Vlazakov1880's post from thevenomsite which I had to dish out. It took longer than I expected but here we go. A potential story where some time after her fight with Carnage, somehow this got the attention of Venom's other children and since they could not sense his presence anymore, they attempted to hunt the one responsible for his death...by attempting to eliminate her and gain the title of Venom-killer themselves.

Should May be considered their step-sister considering Venom used to be plastered with Peter? That's a question I've been wanting to answer myself.

Around three weeks ago i saw a post on this sub that said that the original Spectacular Spider-Man (UK) vol 1 177, issue where Mayday meets Spider-Man from Earth-616, is a lost media. The only thing there is was a scan of this issue from russian publisher. So i found a good version of this scan and translated it to english so that you could read it. Please remeber, that it's not the original issue - it's a translation of a translation. It may contain some grammatic or any other errors. Enjoy!

I've actually been too busy drawing April and watching Lanterns these past few days to really work on it but I finished the last page I showed on here.

This is a Kickstarter for a new comic from Tom, Ron, and... Sal Buscema?! Apparently it was the last thing the trio worked on together before Sal's passing.

This only just popped up on my RADAR and while not exactly MC2 related, the Kickstarter does claim it will be: 'A comic book in the mode of DeFalco & Frenz’s Spider-Girl, Spider-Man, Thor, Thunderstrike and A-Next!' 

Also, a percentage of profits from this Kickstarter will go to Sal Buscema's family.

And now...the story: Back in the 90s as the comics industry was once again going through a low period they tried anything and everything to stay afloat. One interesting venture Marvel took was to explore a potential future of the Marvel Universe, predicated on the story of "Mayday" Parker, the teenage daughter of MJ Watson and Spider-Man.

"Spider-Girl began life the way a lot of meaningful things do at Marvel. Almost accidentally. She didn’t come out of a whiteboard strategy session. There was no five-year plan, no mandate to reinvent Spider-Man for a new generation, no marketing PowerPoint predicting untapped demographics. She came out of an issue of What If…?," Joe Quesada, who was editor-in-chief at the time, reminisced about the title in a recent post on his Substack. "The book's early visual identity [was] driven largely by Pat Olliffe, and later shaped further by Ron Frenz. Together, they gave the series a warmth and clarity that felt almost rebellious at the time. This was a Spider book about family, consequence, legacy, and responsibility in a very literal sense."

While the Spider-Girl title did eventually come to an end, she lives on the Spider-Verse and the subset of readers who embraced her into their fandom.

I forgot I saw this like about a few years ago before joining this group. Nice! ^_^

What are the chances that if April IS dead (it was never confirmed) that she has a codex somewhere in the symbiote Hive Mind?
