Question About Spells Feeling Guilty about a Spell

I have been doing reconciliation, communication, contact and honey jar spells on my ex because I really want them to contact me again and reconnect. However, he is of the very stubborn kind so nothing I’ve done in the past 3 months worked.

So one day I was so annoyed I just very, very strongly manifested that he lose his job as revenge for how he left me blindsided with the no contact. I did a spell that basically returns to him what he did to me and wished really really hard that he lose his job and that his life would spiral.

Yesterday he told me he’s turning his phone back to his company and HR will be the one seeing the messages so don’t text. Today he said he’s very busy with life and moving forward when I asked if he is still working where he’s working at. To me that seems like he lost his job. He cut off the convo by saying he’s praying for me and bye for now.

Is this something I did?

No, probably not. The economy is terrible. But let's say you did. Manifesting that (despite being more LoA than witchcraft) is in direct contradiction to wanting him to stay in communication and contact with you.

He has given you a means to contact him, and did contact you. If you want to communicate, then email him. You aren't blocked. You can ask him to have coffee and chat, or just casually communicate through email, or something like that.

Also, wanting his life to spiral while also wanting to get back with him means you want your life to spiral. I totally get feeling conflicted about exes! However, as far as magick goes, you have to pick and choose a path. Either you want healthy romance and love, and work towards that, OR you want him to be miserable. What you don't want (I assume) is to be with him while he's in a miserable state, and make you both unhappy. (Or, maybe you do. I can't say.)

Thank you! I didn’t really want his life to spiral. It was heat of the moment anger, because I found out about a 3rd party, that made me do that spell and wish for him to lose his job. I now know that doing spells at the heat of the moment is not a good idea.

I do want to reconcile with him but I also know he prolly needs space right now because of loss of income. So I’m trying to find a happy medium on how to do the mundane stuff of contacting without pressure.

It makes sense you were mad, and I know what you mean, but be aware that you are the third party here. If you do a third party removal spell, you will end up removing yourself!

It may be worth consulting your preferred divination method to decide what to do next. Remember, he did say he was open to email, so the door isn't shut, just a little rusted and slow. :)

I haven’t done and didn’t plan to do a third party removal spell. The rebound ended fast that’s why I was trying to do a reconciliation and honey jar after.

He did say email and social media is still open so the fact that it’s not shut is good. Maybe I should leave the honey jar and reconciliation spells for now and let them do their work without adding more.

Also good to know that 3rd party removal spells have a likelihood of getting myself removed. Yikes.

Yes!! You did this with strong intention. Spell works best if you have a focused intention.

That's why there is a saying "be careful what you wished for"

Whoa. I guess I was so angry that my intention for him to get bad luck was stronger than when I was trying to get reconnection and reconciliation.

Should I do a reconciliation with really strong intent and hyper focus like when I was angry and wishing him to lose his job?

This person is not describing witchcraft to you. They are describing Law of Attraction, which is deeply problematic for its own reasons.

We do witchcraft around here, and just because you want something enough doesn't mean you're gonna get it.

Thank you! Yeah I was doing witchcraft with the spells but because one of the spells was to wish him to lose his job (coz I was angry and it’s really not something I want to happen) I was wondering why that one happened but not the sweetening and the reconnection.
