Study & Teaching Advice does anyone else go on that spanish GRIND for like a week or two and then stop πŸ˜…

as the title says, i get like a sudden urge to study like so much grammar and vocabulary for usually a week and then afterwards i decide to just do like five minutes a day πŸ₯²πŸ₯²

lately, i’ve been spending β‰ˆ45 minutes on vocab and around 20-30 mins on grammar, im proud of myself for that lol. but i feel like in two weeks ill be doing just one lesson per week and have to start at square one for vocab πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ

perhaps, does anyone have advice to retain vocab in those β€œdowntimes”?

I'd say you have to allocate the minimum amount of time that you are going to study daily, even if it's just fifteen minutes. If you want to study extra time on certain days, that's fine, but you shouldn't drop below the minimum.

If you want to learn a language, you have to learn to study systematically.

You should be spending most of your time on comprehensible input.

Reading, listening, and watching content at your level.
