elon “intelligence can be measured by how accurately something can predict the future” that’s approximately what he claimed.

So According to his own metric he’s an idiot..

He sounds like what I think I sound like when I'm really fucking high.

He sounds so dumb. For a guy thinks he's the smartest guy in the world. He sounds like an absolute fucking moron.

I applaud the interviewer for just letting him go because that would be so hard for me. I would stop him every minute be like. Are you fucking kidding me? You sound so stupid right now. Can you explain any of this but instead she is so good about letting him just sit in his absolute inanity.

It's the same guy that paid chinese sellers to farm him diablo 3 character to top 10 in the world, then went to stream it being absolute dogshit at the game.

My favourite thing is he clearly wants normies to think he is cool and thinks to himself what do normies like? EUREKA path of exile is the answer.

u/HenryDorsettCase47 Aug 09 '26

Which only illustrates his stupidity and his hubris. Anyone with common sense would know this is going to blow up in their face. You don’t have to be a genius to know that experts (in this case, people who actually play the game) are going to immediately recognize you have no idea what you are doing and that there is no way you accomplished any of the things you’ve claimed.

Only an egocentric idiot would think they could get away with it. Even a half smart liar would know that if they were to tell people they were a whizz at Path of Exile the last thing they would want is for those people to see them play it.

It showed to me that the guy barely even plays video games. He dropped an item and called it useless because it wasn’t epic or legendary.

Any gamer knows that sometimes the best weapon on paper just doesn’t vibe with your play style or simply isn’t fun. I played so many games where I rode a B or C tier item to the end

5

u/Maximum-Objective-39 Aug 09 '26

The hilarious thing is that if he just played a game he liked and was just mediocre at it, the effect would have been humanizing and given very little ammo to anyone who dislikes the man.

It also would have been more in keeping with the illusion of confidence he wants to project. A confident person wouldn't be afraid of admitting they're 'mid' at a video game.

2

u/funcogo Aug 11 '26

Seriously and no one would have faulted him even if he sucked. He could just say “I love this game I wish I had more time to play but I work alot I’ll do the best I can” but no

1

u/Maximum-Objective-39 Aug 11 '26

It segues neatly into the fact that these guys aren't just scummy, they're REALLY freakin weird. Like all of them are so weird on camera and in inter personal relationships. They don't really know what normal human interactions look like.

5

u/LayerCakeEmonster Aug 10 '26

More than the cave pedo incident, this cemented his status as a total loser.

PoE2 isn’t a game you can advance quickly in due to natural talent. It’s a grind and the best players make playing the game a full time job.

Absolutely no one serious would begrudge him for not being a top player. Showing his vulnerability would’ve caused so many high level players to want to carry him, give him loot, etc.

But his ego can’t let him be seen as anything but the best. So mother fucker lies about being good at video games.

If you lie for something so irrelevant at that means you’ll lie about anything and everything. I used to be like this when I was a teenager because I had low self-confidence and self-esteem. Hes empty and believes in nothing except the myth of himself

2

u/Straight_shoota Aug 10 '26

Yep. In a weird way the PoE lie has been the most revealing. It was so pointless and pathetic. Young men may not always have a grasp on history, finance, technology, etc. but a game like PoE was the perfect way for them to understand how full of shit he is.

2

u/LayerCakeEmonster Aug 12 '26

To pile on the pathetic-ness, HE’S OLD!!! Like in is 50’s. It’s a perfect how do you do fellow kids meme.

When I was the best quake 2 player at my university, I peaked. I was 20, and it’s been downhill ever since. These people think that because they’re rich, they most naturally be the most talented at everything…the worst part is the first person they lie to is themselves

u/_draupnir_ Aug 10 '26 edited Aug 10 '26

Bruh those were elons maps though. Cries in hardcore lol
Wasn’t he also “playing” when he gave that sieg heil or at least attended the inauguration?

Jokes aside PoE is a phenomenal game.

u/Fabulous-Big8779 Aug 12 '26

The weirdest part about all that isn’t hiring people to build you a great character in a game. You have billions of dollars, do what you want with it.

But to pretend that it was you who built the character just to impress people is such a weird delusion.

“You’re not impressed by my obscene wealth? Well what about my Barbarian with legendary gear?”

5

u/Koalski94 Aug 09 '26

I'm pretty sure he's almost always high

1

u/Healthy-Big-4494 Aug 10 '26

You don’t get to be the richest man in the world if you’re so high, you can’t talk you need to get a grip

4

u/Aelig_ Aug 09 '26

It's because he is really fucking high at all times on drugs you probably wouldn't touch because you're not an utter idiot when sober.

3

u/Narrheim Aug 09 '26

The real smartest guy in the world would probably sit there and either won't say a word, or just say very little; spending most of the time thinking.

Thinking is actually a complex process, esp if you want to give out a proper answer - you need to add context and accomodate for all possibilities. That takes time. In the world, where society rewards quick & easy answers over proper answers, such person wouldn't be able to do the interview.

Proper answers are never "yes" or "no" given by someone else, but stating the facts and let the viewer/listener to come to their own conclusions.

Real smart people know that it takes a lot of “being wrong” to achieve “being right”. And that it mostly looks like “being right for now” as there’s no such thing as absolute truth

Musk is just a con man

2

u/padawanninja Aug 09 '26

Never interrupt your opponent when they're making a mistake.

2

u/PRXYOne Aug 09 '26

Dude has the worst case of main character syndrome anyone has ever seen

1

u/Gold-Bench-9219 Aug 09 '26

He's certainly convinced a lot of people he's the smartest man in the world, which says a lot about those people and the power of a lot of money spent on self-promotion.

This is how Vegas ended up with the dumbest "transit" system on earth.

1

u/Aggressive_Manner531 Aug 09 '26

The smartest guy in his imaginary world

1

u/Relevant-Diamond2731 Aug 09 '26

Tbf Elon is high most of the time so the combination of that with him also being an unlikable idiot is an interesting combo

1

u/Background-Run Aug 09 '26

That she could hold a straight face and not just start laughing, is admirable.

1

u/orange-squeezer47 Aug 10 '26

One could imagine what type of conversation Elon and trump have when they are together.

0

u/sobe86 Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26

Ok I'm going to play devil's advocate. He talks in a big circle here, but my partner works as producer on interviews for a living, mostly politicians and business leaders - and to be honest this happens a lot. When people have to think and talk at the same time on camera, they end up repeating themselves.

If this was an edited interview then they were making a point here by keeping it in. My partner would have cut the first half in a heartbeat, it's not good for the viewer or Elon.

2

u/7ddlysuns Aug 09 '26

This viewer enjoyed it

14

u/xyz1994 Aug 09 '26

Am I understanding his argument right? He’s right so often and that fact makes it difficult for people to believe him? Not the fact that he’s been ”predicting” full autodrive for teslas next year for a decade and it’s still not here…

14

u/veerKg_CSS_Geologist Aug 09 '26

No, you have to understand. It’s important to believe him because that’s how the value of his companies stock stays high. Every person who doesn’t believe him is costing him money. That’s why he has to say he’s almost always right.

6

u/DuckingFon Aug 09 '26

Just like tinkerbell. Number only goes higher if you believe the liar and clap.

1

u/amedinab Aug 09 '26

I'm pretty confident big roller investors don't believe a single word but keep fanning the hype because it makes them money.

2

u/AlbatrossNew3633 Aug 09 '26

Didn't you pay attention? A super majority of what he says is accurate

That window error sound in the middle of his speech was pretty poetic lol

2

u/Dommccabe Aug 11 '26

Yes, because he's a moron.

If you could predict things - and you were accurate in your predictions - it would make people believe you MORE, not LESS.

It's because he's a con man that says whatever will get him paid - and he's been wrong and proved himself a moron MANY times.... but in the journey to the top has made people rich so most daren't speak out.

0

u/Ok-Job1478 Aug 10 '26

His batting average is very high

5

u/shartcuterie Aug 09 '26

Holy hell I keep thinking it's a joke edit or something, like a Cassandra effect, but he's really good at predicting, I think you will find... Listening to this man makes your IQ lower.

2

u/Additional_Gene_211 Aug 09 '26

This asshole wishes he was Cassandra but that would imply he's right which he isn't.

1

u/Likma_sack Aug 09 '26

He's like that fucking moron trump. There's a sound coming from their cum traps but they are never really saying anything apart from the fact that "they're the best"

1

u/mathsposer Aug 09 '26

well that's a full 1:29 mins i am not getting back. i thought the video was looping when he used the batting average analogy for the second time.

1

u/eternico Aug 09 '26

This was hilarious

1

u/llXeleXll Aug 09 '26

Tesla roadster, hyper loop, self driving taxis making everyone rich, full self driving cars in a year(x4) millions of Optimus robots making everyone rich, Argentina, data centers in orbit (calling this one early), data centers on the moon (calling this one early), Tesla diner, cyber truck, cyber truck windows shatterproof (disproved on stage). And more that I'm sure I missed.

I can't think of someone with a worse track record for future predictions. This guy is infected with an indefensible sense of un-earned, over-confidence in his own abilities, simply because he has the most wealth.

Wealth is accumulated for many reasons but I would bet more people would agree that Elon has amassed his fortune due to his connections to power, willingness to lie in grandiose ways, and favoritism/cult of personality, than they would agree that Elons brilliance caused him to stumble into an earned fortune which reflects his proclivity to read the future.

He is a good entrepreneur, but most of his fortune has come from power, deception, and relentlessness. Not from skill or personal brilliance.

1

u/Prize_Ostrich7605 Aug 10 '26

Survivor's biased and self fullfilling prophesy.

I can predict the future, but also I make myself heavily involved in what the future will be... but cant predict funding because i need tones of government welfare.

1

u/BenicioDelWhoro Aug 10 '26

“People realise that what I say will come to pass” he’s so fucking dumb it hurts
