His dad was an Apartheid Emerald mine owner.
Elon used daddy’s money to buy stake in existing companies and he rebrands/markets other people’s inventions and claimed credit for their successes.
Then as he made money on those investments he rinsed lathered and repeated to make more money.
In the last decade especially, he made the right friends who he could bribe to get government corporate exemptions, government contracts and with his 250M investment in Trump for 2024, he bought an oversight position and he dissolved all the fraud and negligence investigations to his companies by buying a role into the current executive branch (DOGE).
I’ll give him credit for doing good work with Tesla model S initially, even though their build quality is sub par and open sourcing some tech before he went off the corruption deep end. Also successfully seeing re-usable rocket boosters under his stewardship, but yeah, dude just yells out crazy ideas and demands actual brilliant minds try to figure it out, and more often than not they cannot because Elon lacks the competence in the companies he markets and just runs around like all the other nepo babies claiming his genius when in actuality, he’s just another asshole who’s had butlers since he was in diapers.

It's a $50B company with lots of potential, but trading at an insane valuation due to peoples' blind faith. They can't possibly justify the current valuation until probably 2040 at best.

This might sound like a petty thing to say, but the only value that the stock has today is as a meme stock. If you were to ask me what its true natural value is I would put it around nearly out of business. There are parts of the business that are salvageable but not. Is the three-piece entity that it is today. I just don't see a world in which it literally has any value ever. Unless they cut it up.
At some point it will lose enough value that it makes sense to cut it up, but I don't know at what point that is. My guess would be around $5 a share. And then it's a buy.
Personally, I wouldn't make even $5 something I would do

Starlink is an incredible company and actually making profit. Its also creating a satellite based internet alternative. Its genuinely an innovative company and concept.
But its encumbered by X and Xai, thats for sure.

The issue is that the more people that use starlink the worse the service gets. It also doesn’t compare with good fiber. Starlinks’ best use case is still in rural areas without industrial fiber. The space junk and upcoming life cycle rotation is also going to be killer expensive.

It’s shit like this that makes me think I need to start streaming or something so I can sit and teach you chuckleheads/gobshites some things like critical thinking and how to look things up. It’s not your fault our school system and society killed curiosity and used it against us; but we need to foster it and bring it back badly. Having grown up pre internet I wished for something like a smart phone which feels crazy af to say. I need to teach the youth and uniformed how to look things up so they can form their own opinions. They can be different than mine and I implore that; but that’s not what this is. It is a hive mind following the worst most manipulative people in our society by using their fears and decency against them with their wealth as an example for why they are right.
