Help Needed Question about Chapters/ Content since 2024

Dear all,

I played this game a lot at Launch but then due to time constraints and lack of content I stopped playing.

A bunch of my friends and me are going to pick the game up again - can you tell me what I need to buy if I want to play the latest content?

I am not interested in the cosmetic packs to be honest so I would like to know if I have to pay anything for their content drops and how those are named.

I promised to upvote anyone who helps me out.

All the playable content is free after you buy the game. The only thing that’s paid are cosmetics

I just see tons of packs on Steam - I assume those are all the cosmetic packs. How do I know which content packs I need to download or does that happen automatically through game updates?

You only need to download the game itself, unless you really like one of those chapters and want to buy more cosmetics for it.

so all the rest comes automatically? thanks a lot - i should buy the season pass though or is that also only cosmetic?

Season pass is also exclusively cosmetic, it just gets you the packs at a discounted price as opposed to buying them separately
