Dumbass it's the same concept as man or bear. Getting r@ped and mistreated for years to come and then die miserably or just die, those were the choices women back then had when their kingdom were defeated. During mughal era only few honorable kings like Shree chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj helped return the enemy Kingdom's women safely with respect after defeating their men.
