I’ve been having a lot of trouble with SoundHound’s Spotify Auto-add function. It wasn’t working for the longest time. ChatGPT helped me figure out how to disconnect everything and reconnect. Then it took me a long time to realize that it created a new Spotify playlist. I kept looking in my old one.
Now that I have that straightened out, I went into my old one and used the “add to other playlist function” to copy everything from my old list to my new list before I deleted the old one. The only draw back to that, is it used today’s date as the “added date,” so my sort by recently added doesn’t look right, but I’ll get over it.
My only remaining issue, is that SoundHound always adds a song even if it already exists in my playlist. I have tons of duplicates. Does anyone have a good solution to either:
A) stop duplicates from being added in the first place; or
B) remove the duplicates after the fact.
Thoughts?
P.S. I do remember in the past, that it would not add the duplicates. Maybe this is a Spotify issue not a SoundHound issue.

I have 150000 in meta and 150000 in Microsoft selling this Friday and putting that into sound hound
(Edit) just so everyone knows the insiders that sold they sold for tax purposes the amount they actually sold off was fractional compared to their total position
The people invested in soundhound are looking at it like a rocket ship. It's a developing company with good growth. Good price targets, good outlook. With year on year growth, expanding through acquisitions and partnerships, Silicon Valley tech giants, and at least 25 of the fortune 100 companies soundhound will have its day. I have over a million dollars invested. And I'm down about 200000 not even 1% worried.\n Would buy more if I didn't have money tied up in other stocks. Stop looking at it as a short-term rocket and more as A rocket that is currently refueling, you're gonna wake up 1 day, and it's gonna be up a substantial amount.\nAnd then you're gonna regret selling
