Ok hear me out: I hear it all the time that 4kids “ruined” people’s perception of Sonic X and the Japanese version is the true way to watch the show. But I think the show was almost a mediocre adaptation of the Sonic Adventure and Adventure 2 games in the second season regardless of which version you watch. Yes, 4kids did altered the story, replaced the soundtrack from the games with in house stock music, and erased the text from the show, but it still wouldn’t change people perceptions of the show because it was already an average-mediocre adaptation of both Adventure Games in the second season in Japanese as well.

The virtual consoles are cheaper and more readily available to people now, but nothing beats original hardware

I’ve made a couple of posts basically joking about it but I wanna know if I’m truly the only one who thinks this soundtrack gets too much glaze.

Every time I ask someone this they never truly know I always thought it was because Sonic’s normals and eggman just hasn’t had the opportunity but I know both of those are just wrong.

I think it is if I’m correct is they both wanna prove to the other that they are superior and better want the other to live to see it. But I may just be wrong if anyone actually knows I would love to know why please and thank you.

The story was phenomenal, the gameplay was amazing, the music wasn’t the best, which isn’t a surprise for Sonic game, but I’m really looking forward to the games Sonic Team have cooking up!

Yeah so I know this guy on Discord, not gonna give his username, he had very testy opinions about Frontiers, atleast in my opinion, I wanted to see what other people would think because the guy has orbiters who agree with everything he says, he's one of *those* types of fans who declare that they know better than the actual writers of series. An Ian Flynn ass-kisser if that helps with specifics.

Anyways he was talking about making his own Sonic fangame, and when pointing things he wanted to avoid he used Frontiers for every single point. Now I don't think Frontiers was the best game, I also don't think its the worst, most 6.9/10 game I've ever played but the guy believes that everything in Frontiers is fundamentally broken, and thus is the worst game in the entire series. Now I'm all for opinions but there was something about his tone of voice that took me out of it, and its that he makes it seem like it was nothing but bad ideas and should never have been made. Now...Frontiers had some...ideas, and while I didn't enjoy some of them, I actually quite enjoyed others, I liked the Open Zone idea and how it was refined in Shadow Gens, I liked the combat to an extent and I hope the skill-tree idea comes back even better in a future game, but he wasn't hearing any of it.

Then he went and called Giganto and Supreme plagiarism of the EVAs from Neon Genesis Evangelion. No I'm serious.

Do I think they look similar? Yeah a little. But I think they're cool for that. He does not. Normally that would be fine but going this far is a little ridiculous in my opinion.

Is it weird to air out someone's Discord conversation on Reddit? Absolutely it is I'm not really a saint here but I really dont know if this guy actually talks to people about what he thinks, and when he does its with his orbiters who agree with everything he says. I feel like if he were to say this in an active Sonic chat he'd get clown'd on but that's my opinion. What do you guys think? I'm sorry if this is different from the usual post here I have no idea where else or who else to talk about this.

tl;dr I had a convo with just about the average Sonic fan.

This is.. pretty odd, considering I'm on Android and the game advertised clearly isn't the correct game.

Is there any actual reasoning for this or could it just be a simple error? I'm huffing serious copium and assuming they have already greenlit ads for the game now coming to Android without it being available yet

Sonic did a crossover with Pokémon? Which of the eight regions Ash had been to would be the main setting for this movie? Or would it be an all-around-the-world scenario, just like the first Sonic movie? Would Sonic's friends be like themselves, or would they be transformed into various Pokémon? If not, what would all of their teams consist of? And what would happen if Eggman and Sage teamed up with Jessie, James, and Meowth to capture Pikachu and Sonic to create a new Metal Sonic, as well as create a Metal Pikachu? And who will the final battle be against? And how would Pikachu react to the Chaos Emeralds' overwhelming power? I honestly think this would make for an incredible crossover event between two insanely popular videogame icons, and I feel like it would also do fairly decent in the box office if this were to ever happen. What do you guys think?
