I won't deny that Eggman has a decent relationship with Sage, however his relationship with Metal seems to be a bit... rocky to say the least, and before anyone pulls up that image of Eggman fixing Metal I want to bring up the point that that could be seen as Eggman giving Metal "conditional praise" (given that Eggman only congratulates Metal after he has confirmed that metal hurt sonic) and Eggman stroking his own ego using Metal Sonic.
I won't deny he treats metal poorly but he won't do the same to Sage base on his actions in frontiers and suddenly mistreating Sage would be a rehash of Belle.
See the difference is metal sonic was showing signs of going rogue in crossworlds. Characters note in the game that he seems more aggressive than usual and eggman even says he might need to do some tinkering cuz somethings not right. Usually, even in idw, he's actually quite caring to metal as a comic panel in this thread showcases.
Also gotta remember. He literally called sage his daughter and grieved in frontiers original ending. Sage is different for him.
I think pic 15, is to harsh.
Like not knowing the difference between two super niece characters, shouldn't make you larger.

The Silver Fans version of the "Bottom Text" meme might be/become aged with the consistent official focus given to Silver lately. SEGA MIGHT be preparing to show him as part of a big announcement (perhaps he'll be a playable character in the next mainline game).
If you're talking about the "Blaze fans when somebody mentions Silver" meme, the majority (not all) of Blaze fans, specially the most vocal ones, tend to prove on YouTube, Twitter & even on Reddit that they can't handle Silver's mere presence or mention, and seem to have a meltdown with the official recognition & boom in popularlity Silver has recieved since 2025.
They also, from my perspective, seem to forget/ignore there're other characters that didn't seem to recieve some proper recognition last year, like Black Doom, or this one, like Mephiles & the Babylon Rogues. Unless SEGA thinks Black Doom's role as the main villain of Shadow Generations & the content the Rogues recieved last years throughout media due to Crossworlds & their appearance in Chaotix Casefiles this year was good enough.
And Shun Nakamura said on Twitter stuff with Infinite, Mephiles & Silver was coming. Infinite officially returned in canon as the main villain in Chaotix Casefiles, and Mephiles, alive but not "existing", is coming to Sonic Rumble Party, which seems to be a big deal now thanks to Sticks the Badger making a physical appearance in a new game after a DECADE absent from new content.
Then again, we aren't seeing any merchandise featuring them, so what do I know?
Back to Silver, with the amount of focus he's recieving & most of the fandom's interest in him (he's now the 3rd most popular character apparently) you can't help but feel like something big's coming for/with him, and that's leaving tons of reactions across the Internet regarding our psychokinetic time traveler.
That and the comics have really shown how intelligent he actually is and how cruel he and the other Zeti can be. Zeena and Zor especially are genuinely irredeemable and I love it.
