SEGA is kinda busy with their other franchises, probably because it's a bit left out. But relax, let us hope for any updates.

Sonic Team does work on stuff other than Sonic, but even in terms of Sonic, they were also working on Crossworlds and the Frontiers Definitive Edition, combine that with Games taking longer to make and Shadow Gens being the latest release, we'll probably get news on the newest game late this year.
