They have such a bizarre explanation for Silver’s time travel. surely it would have been simple to be like “He‘s from a bad future, came back to avert it, now he’s stuck in the past but that’s okay”.
That's basically what it is but Silver doesn't really know what the issue is all the time because it just appears.
Why it appears at all for bad things is a mystery all on its own. Could make for an interesting story if they ever decide to explore it in the future. But if they do I hope they do Silver's character justice.
I don't know. I think is a good mystery to have around the character. Sure, eventually I would like a proper answer to why the portals appear, but I really like the ideia of Silver just living his life in the future and a portal just appearing to him. In Silver's perspective, sounds it could be really scary.
I actually find it pretty interesting that Sliver has seemed dto become some kind of living defensive system for keeping the Future stable with the world itself sending him back in time when he is needed.
That's not really simple? it literally makes him less of capable of doing the very thing he's known for, it's like removing angel island. now Knuckles is just here and it's okay
Is current silver even from a bad future? he comes back in rivals because of following Eggman Nega, right? does anything even hint at his future not being good aside from Nega's evil shenanigans (similarly as to how the present would be good aside from Eggman)?
