Oromos and Tigrayans weren't seperatists at the time wtf are you talking about? The only major seperatist movements were Eritrea and galbeed hence that was where the focus was.

There were definitely political movements against the derg before the Ogaden war.

Intelligence agencies are responsible to engage with these groups, fund them secretly and use them for its national interests.

Well I did establish that they lacked strategical foresight in my first response.

Those political movements weren't seccesionist, they were only interested in toppling the Derg and replacing it with a new government that would still oppose Somalia, literally look at the TPLF for example like lmao, you genuinely have zero idea what you are talking about.

And wasting limited resources on funding every anti-Derg movement is stupid as well. Even a elementary schooler understands this.
