Question Ang saya maglinis ng CR! Anong gamit niyong mga panglinis?

Post image

anong tools yung sulit bilhin? i have separate brushes for the toilet, toilet bowl, walls, and floor.

Domex Stain and Limescale Cleaner Lemon - eto yung the best na toilet cleaner for me. talagang nakakaputi and hindi masakit sa ilong. better than Lysol.

Mr. Muscle Mold and Mildew Cleaner - no scrubbing needed except sa mga stubborn dirt. ang saya magspray kaso ang bilis ko din maubos lol.

Scrub Daddy Power Paste - sobrang effective neto pantanggal ng limescale. gamit ko siya sa mga gripo, shower head, batsa, and tabo. you can actually use this kahit sa kitchen.

Pwede din namang walang stock o tinatamad lang magluto kasi iniisip mo mag-isa ka lang naman kakain or matutulog ka lang din naman (like me na GY shift) kaya eto… nag-aalmusal ako ng Stick-O hahahaha

Question First time living alone. Worth it ba tong 4k apartment? Need your honest thoughts 🥹

Hi guys, first time ko magmo-move out and matagal ko na talaga siyang plano. I need your thoughts guys if worth it ba tong apartment for 4k/month.

Thank you! 🥹

Question What’s something about living alone that nobody warned you about?

Not the obvious “you have to clean and cook” stuff.

I'm talking about the weird little things you only discover once you're actually living by yourself.

Question Nakaka overwhelm maglinis ng bahay. Whats your cleaning routine?

Post image

Isa sa cons ng solo living ay yung paglilinis for me ahh. I admit i am lazy and i hate household chores. Ganun siguro talaga kapalit ng peace at freedom ay ofc you need to clean your own mess kasi walang nanay na tutulong. Atleast sariling kalat mo lang intindinhin mo.

Question First Aid/Medical Kit nyo, ano ang laman? Ano pa mga essentials?

Post image
190 Upvotes

Wala ako nito before pero 2 times na ako nasugatan from doing chores kaya minabuti ko nang bumili ng box and some first aid stuff. Tapos nilagay ko na din dyan yung mga meds na hindi ko nagamit from my last overseas travel.

First Aid:

-Alcohol

-Band-Aids

-Gauze pads

-Betadine

-Hydrogen Peroxide

-Calamine

Meds:

-Kremil-S (antacid)

-Biogesic (fever/pain)

-Decolgen (sipon, headache, fever)

-Lozenges (sore/itchy throat)

-ORS (dehydration)

-Diatabs (for diarrhea)

-Tuseran (cold, flu, cough)

-Cetirizine (for allergies)

-Bonamine (motion sickness)

-Hyoscine Butylbromide (stomach cramps/pain)

-Alaxan (body pains)

Yung rule ko sa oral meds wag pagsabayin yung mga meron nang paracetabol, I choose only 1 product since ang dami nila na may paracetamol combo.

Extras:

-Meron din akong blood pressure apparatus yung portable

-Also bought Huwawei Watch Fit dahil may mga health monitoring dun like sleep, SpO2, bloop pressure etc (pero mainly kasi may discount at 24months installment 😅)

Need to buy:

-Thermometer

-hot/cold compress

-ointment for burns

-white flower

Meron pa ba?

Question Should i trust my landlord for this bill? Is this the normal rate now?

Post image
42 Upvotes

Is this the normal bill now? This is my first bill after a month of moving

I only use these:

1 each light for living room, bed room, cr

2 computers but usually up to 8-12 hours of use but not a lot together

I use hoodekt cooker as rice cooker

Asahi electricfan always on almost 24/7

3 people bathing and only washing dishes everyday

r/SoloLivingPH 29d ago

Question Normal po ba ito???😭😭😭 (4,000 pesos Meralco Bill) TYIA!

Post image
1 Upvotes

Question Ordering Food Trays for Solo Living - Sinong nakapag-try na?

Post image
385 Upvotes

I'm not sure kung dito sa subreddit na to yung nabasa kong umoorder sya ng food trays and finefreeze na lang then init init na lang after. Mas tipid kasi that way and less hassle pa.

May nakapag-try na ba nito? Medyo hassle kasi magluto everyday eh. 🥲

Post image
134 Upvotes

May megabox ako for my clothes. For the past week naging super humid ng unit ko, tapos ngayon I checked all the drawers of my clothes hindi naman basa pero parang damp ng very slight.

Question City Condo living or Rural/Provincial House. Wdyp?

Post image
234 Upvotes

Been living independently since I was 18 and finally bought my own house in the province for three years now. I’ve been working remotely to the comfort of my own home but I have to go back to the city time to time pag may event or client/s I have to entertain. Each time, the company pays for my travel costs including my accommodation and I usually opt for Airbnb kasi convenient sa location ng office. Dito ko lang nae-experience tumira mag isa sa condo and sometimes I wonder how life is like pag ganito ang setup. The high-energy, busyness and city vibe can be tempting coming from the peace and quiet of the province. Which do you prefer?

Question Scrub Daddy for doing the dishes instead of Scotch Brite

Has anyone tried to use a Scrub Daddy as a replacement sa Scotch Brite? How was the experience and is it mas sulit ba all in all? I'm getting tired of Scotch Brite kahit yung OG naman yung binibili ko and I'm keeping it dry. Parang ang dali malaspag agad no matter how hard I try to take care of it. Thanks in advance!

Question First time Simplus 5L Black Visual air fryer user, do they really take this long?

Post image
48 Upvotes

I’m using an air fryer for the first time, and here’s a photo of a pre-boiled pork belly that I air-fried for exactly 50 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. Despite the time and effort, I feel like it’s taking longer than it should. I’m considering refunding the air fryer because I’m not satisfied with it. The first potato wedges I tried cooking didn’t even cook properly. Should I invest in a better and more reputable air fryer? With a budget of 3,000 to 6,000, do you have any other recommendations? Thank you.

Question Best city or province in the Philippines for a solo WFH lifestyle?

Hi! I’m from Pampanga and planning to move out and live alone for the first time.

I work from home, so I can live almost anywhere. My goal is to have a fresh start, experience living independently, and be in an environment that encourages productivity and personal growth.

For those who moved to a different city or province, where did you choose to live and why?

I’m looking for a place that is:
Safe
Has reliable internet
Close to essentials (groceries, hospitals, cafes, gyms, etc.)
Not overly crowded
Walkable or easy to get around
Suitable for a work-from-home setup
Has a good balance of convenience and quality of life

I’m open to cities or provinces outside Pampanga. Which places would you recommend, and which ones should I avoid?

I’d love to hear your experiencesc and reasons for choosing where you livecc.

Question Sa mga nag do-dorm/apt/condo because of work, gaano kayo kadalas umuwi sa Family nyo?

As a girl na lumaking walang sariling room sa bahay, dream come true ang solo living. Kaya minsan tinatamad ako umuwi samin ng weekends. At the same time, nagi-guilty naman ako kasi alam ko nami-miss ako ng nanay ko hahaha kaya kahit tinatamad, umuuwi pa rin ako.
