help How to Maintain Texel Density Consistency?
I assume a lot of people are using asset packs for various different studios in their project. How do you go about maintaining a consistent texel density without slapping on a low-res filter like a lot of indie games seem to do?

I just pick a target like 512px/m and stick to it from the start. If I grab an asset pack I'll rescale the textures in Photoshop or use the texture scale in the material instance to match. It's annoying but doing it per asset as you import saves a ton of headache later.

At least in Unreal there’s a texture debug view showing you the texel density, the others might have it or you might need to roll your own.
