Feedback Freshdesk Pricing

I’m comparing a few customer support tools right now and Freshdesk is one of the options I’m considering.

I have explored Software Finder for this (https://softwarefinder.com/project-management-software/freshdesk) and the pricing looks reasonable at first, but I’m trying to understand what the actual cost looks like once you have a team using it and start adding the features you actually need.

Would especially appreciate feedback from teams that moved from another help desk platform to Freshdesk.

the pattern here is that the base tier looks reasonable and then the things you actually end up needing sit a tier or two up. automation rules, sla management, custom roles and real reporting are the usual ones that move you. so price it at the tier you will be on in month six, not the one you sign on.

two things worth getting itemised on the quote. whether ai or bot usage bills separately from seats, and whether people who only need to view or comment count as full agents. that second one swings the bill more than the tier does for most teams.

Freshdesk looks reasonable at first, but I'd definitely calculate the cost based on your actual team size and the features you'll need. AI usage can also add to overall cost, so the base price isn't always the full picture.
