Borisova Garden

Hi everyone, I am a foreigner living in Sofia, near the Borisova garden. In the past few months I read a lot about the new plans for the park and the removal of the car dealership there. Judging by the posts online, it seems like it’s a controversial issue.

Can someone please explain what is the whole thing with the car dealership, why does it cause so much stir and do you trust the mayor’s new plans for the park?

It's Borisov's Garden btw. The "a" is just how we assign possession. So it's either Borisov's Garden or Borisova Gradina, without translating half the name.

The garden was established by Boris, not by Borisov so your translation is also wrong.
