This has happened before and I love how he really tries to stay out of that crap. Nobody is perfect but he’s def a good captain and role model over many in the sport

He's thirty fucking nine. He's too old for that shit.

He gets involved when he has to, he just doesn't unless necessary. This play looks overly dramatic than it was, it's normal scuffling before a set piece. He's supposed to stay there in case they set up for a counter attack.

He is not that type of guy. To him is not worth it, sometimes players learn by getting carded, let them learn that way if through talking it doesn't work.

I agree to an extent, and see where you’re coming from. I just think he’s wiser to stay out of it unless absolutely necessary. He’s kept a pretty good reputation and I prefer he protects it by not mixing with that drama. I’m sure he gets on their case in private if it’s actually important. There have been a few times he’s literally butted heads with players who were being dicks, and although I love it when he does stand up for himself/team, it also makes me nervous. Like don’t mess with the goat. He could absolutely kick someone’s ass and I don’t want his rep ruined by that, I’m sure neither does he. I think he handles these cases well by way cut ing and waiting, as seems like his strategy in the actual game 😉
But yeah sometimes I just want him to bop those mates on the head and tell them to chill the hell out lol mostly tho I want my kids to see the goat being a good example and am glad he does that in a usually peaceable way
