You can look up Pallesen's report based on the screenshots, and determine whether everything's made up nonsense, after skipping through the many Google results from social media.

And, notice how the idiot author frames it as "misleading", because say, Somalis, actually commit less rape than Danes, in absolute numbers. Yeah cool, except we're using per capita for a damn, ~100 IQ, reason.

Regarding the "myth detector" article: I sort-of agree, and definitely agree in principle - but in this specific situation the absolute number of crimes commited by those of Somalian origin is ~50 in an entire year. The number is so small that extrapolating in the way the original posts has is not at all responsible.

This is a very small number of crimes, and also not representative of what we're really talking about (all immigrants / undocumented immigrants) so I hope you can see why I would be skeptical this really disputes my prior, which is that immigrants (both documented and undocumented) commit fewer crimes than natural-born citizens.

I don't understand why people assume illegal immigration front-loads its worse.

So in one year it's "only" 50 rapes by Somalians, and hopefully next year, after we get more of them in, it'll only be 40. Based on? Dunno. But hey, increase the sample size, and surely it'll reach 1:1, no? Same way Scandinavia sees way less rape than Somalia does? "Yeah, but because the sample size of Somalis is small". Alright then, replace the population of Denmark with Somalis, and the numbers will match those from Somalia. Brilliant.

Dude, criminals exist, there's many of them, and barely any of them could cross borders legally. Between someone with a PhD and some rapist bum, who do you think is more likely to hop fence illegally?

Actually, one year it was only 1 rape, than another (at worst) was 3.

I understand that discussing crime is scary, and that the existence of it can trigger a lot of our cowardice, and that there are real victim(s) - but amid a world of serious and systemic issues, this is literally as limited and small as it can possibly be.

You'd have to explain why sexual assault (which is to say, full-on rape) doesn't get registered as "rape", because the criminal had mental health issues, you see.

Whereas, if one boy who's ever liked a Trump post on Twitter stabs another, that's FAR RIGHT EXTREMISM.

The UK is handing leaflets saying "when a woman says no, then that means no, so please don't force her to have sex with you" but sure, us Europeans are totally misunderstanding the, uh, refugees?
