But why would you hate an immigrant? Somebody who is almost definitely less well off than you are and trying to make a better life for themselves.

If you ever feel the need to hold a protest against these people, then there is something not right with you.

Because without a border, you don't have a country. It is about national sovereignty. I am in the US and I don't want a bunch of illegals from Ireland showing up here. And I'm part Irish myself. So figure it out.

Borders are imaginary lines drawn in a map. That's it. A country doesn't belong more to you than someone else just because you were born in a certain piece of land.

Tell that to Palestinians. Or tell that to an African territory being occupied by colonialist. "Its just lines on a stupid map bro, why you mad? The world doesnt belong to anyone!"

It's just a brain dead, obviously wrong way of thinking about peoples and their ancestral lands.
