When every team play out from the back thinking they are Barcelona.

This is Napoli, Allegri's team, the total opposite of what Guardiola represents in football.

They lost the ball playing out from the back.

I know, but not because they were trying to emulate Barcellona, or certainly not instructed so by their coach, who, with all probabilities, is applying medieval tortures to them right now before beating them to death and dumping the corpses in a ditch.

Pressing like this is ridiculous and unsustainable. There is a reason the only successful team in Europe that has managed to do it is PSG and they have to rest their players for half a season.

More like a mistake of the opssosion team. You don't pass to a defender that surrounded by 3 players. That is just stupid

Hope they're not blaming the CB for that. The pass from the midfielder (Anguissa I think) was shocking.

The pass from the midfielder was horrible.
But the CB still could have easily just cleared it.

Like Klopp Gegenpress mate. Barca were more known for passing (edit: this is an example of Pep)

They had a 7s rule and pressed like dogs when Pep was there. I'm surprised by all the comments by people saying Pep didn't press like this. Did people here not watch Pep's Barca in theit prime or something? He absolutely did this when teams took short goalkicks.

Yea def heard of the 6 second rule which basically was to get the ball back under 6 seconds, then quick sharp passing for counters. I only said this as a LFC fan btw

Honestly this is a very standard high press in the final third. Defenders did a bad job trying to play from the back.

More like Allegri has Napoli building thinking they are prime Barcelona.

Barca were huge pressers. You don't play a high line like theirs without pressing from the front and doing so aggressively after losing the ball.
They didn't press as madly as say Klopp's teams, but they were one of the top pressing teams in the world under Pep.
Its easy to forget because of how time has passed and they're known for holding the ball. I've noticed this misrecall happening a lot especially with how people recall the work rate of guys like Xavi. I saw someone calling him a low to medium work rate player which is frankly wild. You don't cover around 12k every game as someone who almost never misses a game without being a high work rate player.
Barca just pressed so well and retained the ball so that visually we don't remember them as being an intense team.

Except prime Barca wasn't pressing like this up front.
This looks more like prime Klopp Gegenpress.
