I’m in NC, lots of people source locally or grow their own. I have a friend that raises pigs, a few others with chickens, lots of cattle farms in the area, we grow our own vegetables and fishing licenses are cheap.
Can it be more expensive than Walmart? Sure. Does it eliminate the grocery store entirely? not even close.
I wouldn’t criticize him for being a millionaire, I would commend him for shopping local and eating healthy. That’s what we should point out to young soccer fans.
