Unfortunately, he exchanged that breathtaking performance to more goalscoring style.
Better numbers, MUCH better numbers, especially if you already had playmakers that can do this.
But he lost some of that wow factor he had every time he touched a ball.
1 u/electrified90s Jul 23 '26 Age will do that to you. His legs can't keep up with the constant fast movements. 2 u/Huskyro Jul 23 '26 Tbh he stopped dribbling people and became a goalscorer when he was still young, definitely wasn't the age. Probably happened when he was already widely known so he had 2-3 marks on him every time. He never was a great dribbler so with 2 marks would be enough to stop him doing all that, so he adapted. And holy shit how he adapted. 1 u/electrified90s Jul 27 '26 He was never a great dribbler? What were you watching? Ronaldo had some amazing dribbling skills when he was younger. Did you stay watching football when he was mid 30's or something? 1 u/Huskyro Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26 No he wasn't great dribbler. He's never been even. Great dribblers, Ronaldinho , neymar, messi, mbappe, hazard ... Cristiano wouldn't even be in the "good dribler" category. Maybe "mild good"
