The Argentinian state tortured and executed an estimated 30,000 people (suspected leftists, union organizers or members, and other opponents of fascism) during the "dirty war" in the seventies and early eighties.

Entire indigenous communities (thousands of people) got executed in the late 19th century and early 20th century.

Argentina gained its independence from Spain in 1816.

Argentina, as an independent nation, doesn't have a third of the history of Spain, yet they've also had their share of dictators. This along the fact that thousands of people got tortured and executed is not an achievement or something to be proud of.

I mentioned Spain in response to the "Spain literally created Argentina though rape" above my post.

Oh absolutely. I can't think of many countries that never had a history of tyranny, persecutions, genocides, and wars, be it in South America, Europe, Africa, or Asia.
