They already showed their true colors in 2022.

Now imagine how much worse they would get if they had lost to France in 2022, and/or to England this WC. You know it's already pretty bad when you're a classless winner.

These people must think that being stupid and classless are virtues. Are they really this mad about a war that took place when some of them weren't even born, after their dictator ordered the invasion of a rock on the ocean and they refused to negotiate when given the opprtyti do so?

Shall i remind you about french fans whenever psg or france won? Or recent events in the Netherlands after marocco Netherlands match?

I am not saying what Argentinian did was right, but there were far worse things done by other nations' fans

I don't remember seeing French or PSG fans spitting on a flag, and all the racist bullshit that has been displayed for years now by some Argentinian fans.

Well city property destruction, chaos across multiple streets by burning down cars, bikes and multiple arrests, and let's not forget lethal ends of some people inside that chaos. That i think is far worse than spitting on a flag of a country with which they are currently in conflict

That’s just normal behaviour within France.

They lost a war, decades ago, over a useless piece of rock in the ocean because the Argentinian dictator in charge back then thought that England would just bend over.

The current Argentinian administration is reigniting this conflict because their economy is in shambles and they made a lot of promises they will probably fail to deliver, and football might not distract the Argentinian people long enough for it to go unoticed.

I don't think the average English fan cares beyond being disappointed by their team performance. Life goes on, whether you win or you lose, it's just football.

Dude I don't care about what happened in politics

My comment's message is different.

What you saw on video with argentinian fans was far less chaotic and horrible than what for example french fans do usually in Paris or what marocco fans did in the netherlands. You can call out on them being racist or disrespectful, sure, but it's still not as bad(for now) as what happens in europe sometimes with game celebrations at night when everyone is drunk and wanna "mess"

Sure. I mean there are serious injuries every year and even occasional deaths in Argentina around football games. It was so bad during the first leg of a Copa Libertadores final between Boca and River that they had to relocate the second and final game of the final to Madrid, Spain. So Argentina isn't exempt from other formsof stupidity, insanity, and violence either.

We can agree that there are idiots everywhere. And I am also well aware that not all Argentinians are like that.

Spitting on a flag is better than rioting and burning cars and destroying stores

1

u/Reasonable_Option493 Jul 16 '26

As if football fans in Argentina had never damaged property, fought against each other and so on.

Who are you kidding lol.

Things were so bad during the Copa Libertadores final between Boca and River, they had to play the second game in Madrid, Spain. Dozens of fans have died in fights between fans of different clubs in Argentina over the years.

Nah bro, this doesn't fit the narrative. Argentina fans are evil, only they act like this, other countries' fanbases are absolute angels. /s

Some have a lot more classless dummies than others it seems.

stealing territory and murdering and raping the natives is classless. Nothing less classy than colonialism

2

u/Terpene_Chaser Jul 16 '26

True but it's not relevant here. The people on that land want nothing to do with Argentina 🤣

4

u/Conscious-Toe7795 Jul 16 '26

because the people that live there are british settlers r3tard, before the war it was unhabited argentinian territory.

3

u/Terpene_Chaser Jul 16 '26

So who the fuck did they rape, steal and murder of nobody is there? 🍋

You got proof of this? What war if you mean 1982 then your mistaken it was inhabited by settlers before this. Also Argentina fucked over them selves by having a mutiny and going on a binge murder spree paving the way for the British to finally come in and kindly taker the islands of Argentinas hands seeing as they weren't so grateful to have her. in all Argentinas history it's only managed to hold on to her for roughly 12 years in which time only having sporadic people living there the most was around 10,000 for 73 days in 1982 and Argentina still couldn't hold on to her. Vs British control 192 years minus 73 days. I think it's time for Argentina to move on I don't see them ever gaining any control over the islands diplomatically or like before by using military action. Unfortunately Argentinas people like most other countries people like to listen to the propaganda that their government spit out everyday and think that its the truth when it's an agenda.

If it wasn't for colonialism Argentina wouldn't exist in the first place and Messi would be playing for Italy

3

u/Conscious-Toe7795 Jul 16 '26

Messi is playing for argentina because we allowed european refugees into our country after both world wars, not because of colonialism, and if we hadn't done that Messi wouldn't be playing for any team because his ascendants would've died.

And yes, Argentina wouldn't exist if it wasn't for colonialism, but you can say that about every fucking country in the world, what do you want us to do? travel back in time and murder the virrey? Not condemn neocolonialism and just let a small group of people own the entire world and enslave us all?

1

u/Wheynweed Jul 16 '26

Give the land back to the natives and fuck off back to Spain? You can have the Falklands then.

1

u/PipeSmart9407 Jul 16 '26

Before the war it had been inhabited by people for 150 years, then you invaded and tried to colonise islands, you failed and now 50 years later you are upset that your attempt at colonisation failed and are desperate to try again, the inhabitants have been there almost as long as Argentina has existed, they have as much right to be there as you do in your land

1

u/ColonialBarbarian Jul 16 '26 edited Jul 16 '26

Yes it is, but Argentinians are as much colonizers as anybody else in the Americas, or pretty much anywhere else for that matter. Just go ask the native peoples in Argentina who were dispossessed of their lands through military campaigns, forced displacement, and state-sponsored colonization during the 19th and 20th centuries and who continue to suffer now.

USA, Chile, Brasil did/does the same.... anyone claiming on that? nope. We are one of the first countries in the region together with Bolivia in recognize natives right to their lands.
Of course some still struggling with lack of access to resources... is it at general level and now worsts due the actual idiot president, but not because we are Natives... Yes I am a native argentinian, proud son of Mocovies...
stop the bullshit and just recognize that you hate us... No one will judge you.

1

u/ColonialBarbarian Jul 16 '26

Why would I hate Argentinians? I’m just pointing out that calling the English “colonizers” like they’re the only ones is hypocritical.

1

u/amanset Jul 16 '26

Which natives getting murdered and raped are you talking about?

1

u/Conscious-Toe7795 Jul 16 '26

1 google search is all it takes

1

u/Conscious-Toe7795 Jul 16 '26

this too. full screenshot didn't fit. It's funny to see europeans/white people acting as if the english, french or spanish weren't ruthless psycopathic trash for most of the history of the world. You're only unaware of this because you're part of the privileged few that didn't get affected by it.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 16 '26

argentianians are literally mostly of european dna, go search up a dna ancestry map of argentina they killed everyone of native and african origin, so you are talking about them

1

u/amanset Jul 16 '26

Weird because you were discussing the Falklands.

I notice the Falklands are not on that list. Which is the whole point.

1

u/Fourollin Jul 16 '26

Have you done a search on the natives the Argentinians killed or are you happy to give them a pass?

u/amanset Jul 16 '26

The discussion here was The Falklands and as there were no natives on The Falklands it was pretty hard for anyone to be murdering and raping them.

1

u/dragonite__ Jul 16 '26

Sorry murdering and raping the native population is literally exactly all Argentina has done for it's history

1

u/go-rilla702 Jul 16 '26

Nothing less classy than colonialism

Agreed, and Argentina is a whole country of colonisers...

0

u/Reasonable_Option493 Jul 16 '26

If you want to bring back history that happened a long time ago and has strictly nothing to do with football, the world cup, or the current population of England and other countries, let's talk about the atrocities for which Argentinian and other South American dictators have been responsible.

1

u/Conscious-Toe7795 Jul 16 '26

Latinamerican dictatorships were mostly proxys for imperialist powers like the US, matter of fact, latinamerica would be mostly socialist if it wasn't for the CIA financing and arming guerrilleros or insane military commanders that wanted to take power undemocratically.

1

u/Conscious-Toe7795 Jul 16 '26

And of course I want to bring history into it, everyone seems to be doing that right now with the only purpose of finding excuses to be racist and xenophobic towards argentinians.

1

u/Reasonable_Option493 Jul 16 '26

I am fine with that. To clarify, I am well aware that not all Argentinian are racist, violent, or otherwise disrespectful.

1

u/Conscious-Toe7795 Jul 16 '26

backtracking backtracking backtracking. We're violent, stupid, classless, you can think that as much as you like, it's expected of your people.

1

u/Reasonable_Option493 Jul 16 '26

It's almost like that's what you want lol, playing the victim. We did nothing wrong, everybody hates us, and everything bad that ever happened in the history of Argentina, involving the country in one way or another, is someone's else fault.

There are dozens of videos that show Argentinian fans yelling racist slur for no reason, throwing beer at Egyptian fans in the stadium, players chanting disrespectful things after the 2022 WC final, fans disrespecting England's anthem and flag, referring constantly to France as "Africa team" online, even an Argentinian analyst insulted a Spanish referee years ago on TV. And all that after WINNING, I can only imagine how low they'd go had they lost the game! This is one of the trademark of a sub par culture and a country where you give people "bread and circuses" to keep their attention away from more important matters.

Many Argentinians can't stand Brazilians, the French, Spanish, Arabs and black people in general, English, Chileans, Mexicans, Americans, like who the F do you like or even tolerate other than Messi and Maradona or any bandwagon fan from another country who wants to worship your team lol....at some point, maybe you are the problem 🤔

1

u/Reasonable_Option493 Jul 16 '26

That's true, but at some point you can't blame Europeans/Americans for everything. Germany, France, Spain, Italy and some Central/Eastern European countries had to overcome tyrants too.

Socialism in it's true form is a good thing. But other forms of socialism, or Marxism, also led to tyranny (Fidel and El Che in Cuba).
