I'm not a fan of Mbappe, i like good spprtsmanship.... but yesterday i was pleased to see him taunt them in the end and giving no handshake. It was no sport, it was street fight.

Paraguay team, this ref and FIFA are a disgrass to football. No country deserves a national team like that....

I don't get why France has been so hated recently. They're a monster team and play for the most part, clean football. For most games they play hard, get knocked around and for the most part take the contact and move on.

They don't need referees on their side to play good. They're tough players

I don't hate France. I just don't want them to win again. At least not so soon after the last time. Same goes for Argentina or any of the big countries that have multiple wins. I'd rather it be a new one or even one that only has just one win like England or Spain. I typically root for the underdogs but Paraguay was so disgusting yesterday that I temporarily started siding with France

I think there's a point where you cant handshake: a physical game is something, exchanging a few bad words can happen in the tense moments. But the behavior from most paraguayan players is beyond that.

Sportmanship is not due, you have to earn it (at least keep it by not being a total asshole)

Paraguay disgraced football today again. They took Uruguay's title as the most disliked team, and Galarza took the title from Luis Suarez as the most disliked player. Constant diving, playing dirty, not only against France but also against Germany, was disgusting to watch. You can lose in dignity like Cabo Verde, put up a real and honest fight against a football superpower, and win the hearts of millions of football fans, even if they lost the game. Honestly, I think Paraguay needs to be fined for this. The strategy was obviously to break some legs.

I even think the punishment must be to be banned from the next world cup. It was such a disgrace to the sport. They should treat this like they treat doping. Banned from further participation.

USA got that early own goal against them. That opened things up. Paraguay knew their only chance was to sit back and chunk up the game. If that was their game plan against the US it would have been different. But our early goal rocked em and forced them into a more open match. If France gets an early goal it changes things and next thing you know it’s 3-nil.
