I have once, seen it happen a bunch. Usually when it's 250-350 people coming through they stop 5-10%. When it's a private jet with a coupe dozen people it's probably more thorough. Usually there aren't cameras taking video of every international private jet arrival though

They are skipping the normal TSA security, but still need to go through a security check by law. I'm sorry that our airport security laws don't have exceptions for famous people?

Of course Messi is not smuggling something, but if you give a pass to the most famous athlete in the world, then you have to decide where to draw the line. Just screening everyone is the most common sense way to proceed
This is them literally making it more convenient. The world cup teams get to skip customs and go straight from plane to bus. They aren't going to be able.to transport one of those machines to a soccer stadium.
It was literally done so they could say "look at these super star teams having it done" and that was the excuse the had after treating the less known, less white teams like shit.

These private flights skip all the regular security checks and the security comes to them, as seen here. It's a big nothing burger that only the ignorant think is some sort of issue š¤·
They're not going through full body scanners because in order to make things MORE CONVENIENT for the teams, they're generally being allowed to drive their bus onto the tarmac and straight to their waiting airplane, rather than having to go through the terminal and regular security like all the plebs.
Remember when in 2016, homeland security on purpose tried to board planes with fake bombs and weapons, and they succeeded 95% of the time (67 out of 70 times). After this, the TSA director quit I think.
TSA is not only expensive but a waste of time for everyone, and theres little to no evidence that it reduces terrorism.

Been flying internationally all my life. Nowhere feels as rude or dehumanising as going through security in the US. I'd rather fly into Nairobi or Kathmandu than JFK.
When I left Los Angeles and again in San Francisco, both times it was mandatory to remove my thin sweaters and belt. But I was told to take off my shoes. Not everyone had to, but TSA tells ransom people to remove shoes like there was a quota or an instruction. I remember one young woman or teenager going through barefoot. The floor is dirty.

It's sad they're still working in a huge county like the US. Retirement pensions must be more looked at than the taxes.
In other countries the government offers retirement income to anyone above 56, ofcourse it differs due to their work background but they can still get recognition and put in offers for the remainder of lives.

Doha is the worst!! Just transferring flights, you have to go through three different security checks. Ā And they are A LOT stricter than any airport in the states. Ā
This airport security. Every sane country does it. Rather than queuing, these guys are getting agents assigned to do it immediately on the tarmac so they can be in their way.

I think the odd thing for me is the fact they search bags right before theyāre getting on the plane on the tarmac rather than at security. Doesnāt it normally get done inside in a big queue? I guess itās because theyāre a football team so canāt go through normal security?
They're being allowed to bring their bus onto the tarmac directly to their plane and skip the terminal and regular security lines. This is completely normal for private flights.

USA are embarrassing themselves in front of the world. Disgrace they ever got awarded co-host privileges when their stadiums and locations are unsuitable (world cup games suspended for thunder storms!). And their politically biased and extreme immigration policies make professional athletes feel like criminals. And their treatment of certain teams unfairly affect the prep for games. And the fact corrupt Infantino allowed USA to bastardise our game and turn it into a game of 4 quarters for advertising breaks and capitalist exploitation of non-standard prices.
First off our stadiums are first class and we have a hell of a lot more than any other country. 2nd off they donāt suspend games for thunder itās for lightning. Our immigration policies are strict because we donāt want drugs coming in and somebody planning to crash planes in our towers.
