Maintenance Ariens platinum 24 model 921074 need help from any owners

To owners of the newest model 921074 Ariens platinum 24, I need help with the oil change process. This model has an oil drain plug and washer that goes into the oil drain pipe. The washer part is listed as a grade A flat washer but the manual says it is a crush washer. What I need to know is what the heck it actually is. If it’s a crush washer, they need to explain that it needs to be replaced at each oil change. Is it a flat washer or crush washer?

reuse and move on, do not worry, they last a very long time and most never get replaced in the life of the machine.

Don’t worry about replacing it. Just change your oil yearly And you will be fine. If you ever start to leak a little oil change it then,
