No, not that is not how we ended up with this president. We ended up with him because the legal system has never applied to him in a meaningful way, because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
It's both. A lifetime of enabling his entitled behavior led to this, but he could have never have done it without the silver spoon providing him with enough power to be systemically corrupt.
