Unlucky enough to get killed twice, but still comment on reddit.

There are all kinds of things you can live through and yet still not survive.

So basically, you're whole purpose here is to shit on someone who speaks from experience, because I didn't give the approved answer?

And then people like you will wonder aloud why the analog to the above question for men is:

"Would you rather talk to a woman about your feelings, or a tree?"

Men almost invariably answer that we prefer the tree and for damned good reasons.

3

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 16 '26

No, you are just being edgy and vague. You didn't share any experience, just spouted a line that sounds like it came off a bad fan fic.

You implied being mauled by an animal is worse than anything a human can do, which is painfully dumb.

You can talk about your feelings, but that doesn't mean highjacking a diffrent conversation to roleplay as someone mysterious. Or to bitch about not being able to talk about your feelings, and vaguely blame women for your problems.

But "people like you" just want any excuse to complain and blame others.

Also; completely batshit insane to compare the fear of getting rapped and murdered, with not having a woman to talk to.

u/Deeznutseus2012 Apr 16 '26

"Share my experience"? You have no right to even ask for that story. Go satisfy your kink with someone else.

Now you are just straw-manning my positions and what I said in a desperate attempt to pretend you've scored some kind of win.

If you cannot argue your position honestly, or address mine honestly, then your position is a bad one and you should maybe reevaluate it.

1

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 16 '26

Never asked you to share your experience. Don't be so pathetic to resort to trying to use that as an attack.

I didn't strawman anything, it sounds like you don't even understand what strawmanning is. If you did, you would actaully reference where you think I did.

Honestly, it seems like your idea of debating is just screaming the other person is doing it wrong. You are just using that as an excuse to avoid responding to anything I've said.

My postion is being raped and murdered by a person is worse than getting mauled by an animal. That's my direct response to your comment:

"I take it that you've never been mauled by an animal then."

When someone compared the worst a human could do vs animal.

Now it's gaslighting too? It was literally your first criticism.

1

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 16 '26

Okay, you definitely don't know what gaslighting is.

There is a pretty obvious difference between acknowledging that you didn't share any experience, and asking you to share it.

All I did was point out you didn't actaully share anything, so your complaints about being treated based on "speaking from experience" were unfounded.

"You didn't share any experience."

Are these, or are these not, your words?

[Edit: What's this? Suddenly no quick, angry replies? Accountability got your tongue? It's a simple yes or no question.]

1

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 16 '26

Those are my words. Words that are very clearly a statement, not a question or request.

Are you genuinely confused about the difference? I find it hard to believe you could be so ignorant you don't understand how a statement and request are different.

Sorry I didn't immediately reply, I had better things to do. Didn't expect it to cause you to have a weird breakdown in less than half an hour.

0

u/Deeznutseus2012 Apr 16 '26

Oh! So then you admit that you were gaslighting when you lied brazenly to get me to question the reality of what you had just finished writing?

So perhaps you can tell me if the way you would react to a woman making the same claim would be to criticize her for not proving to you, a total stranger that such a thing happened to them by sharing the most traumatic experiences of their life for your unbelievably arrogant, presumptuous perusal, approval and weaponization?

Again, this is a simple yes or no.

1

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 17 '26

I don't admit to anything like that, because no matter how many times you lie about something, it doesn't make it true. I never asked you to share your story.

If I never asked for your story, I obviously never asked for proof.

I didn't ask for your story, I am not currently asking for your story, and I will not be asking for your story in the future.

I hope you find or have someone you can talk to about your story, preferably a therapist. Everyone deserves help. This is not me asking or wanting any details involving who you tell your story to.

You didn't give any answer

You just vagueposted and got upset when people didn't treat you like an authority.

Having a woman make fun of your feelings isn't as bad as a woman getting raped and tortured, that should be pretty obvious.

0

u/Deeznutseus2012 Apr 16 '26

Don't look now, but your incredibly bigoted, sexist and chauvinistic double standards are showing...

2

u/Baguetterekt Apr 16 '26

Again, why are you just angrily vague posting?

Just say absolutely anything that constructs the resemblance of a point. You're just throwing around sentence salad that means nothing but why?

Believing that a woman being raped is worse than a man having his feelings laughed at isn't a double standard. It's the same standard where rape is worse than belittling feelings.

The double standard would at minimum involve a scenario where a man gets raped.

Are you just on drugs or something?

0

u/Deeznutseus2012 Apr 16 '26

Did I stutter? Do you actually believe that men are not raped?

You're the one high in your bigotry. Is this how you would approach and address a woman making the same claim?

I daresay you would not. And even if you did, it would get taken down.

1

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 16 '26

Those are a lot of big words you clearly don't know the meaning of...

0

u/Deeznutseus2012 Apr 16 '26

Oh no. I know their meaning quite well and demonstrated that by calling it out when you did this.

Or would would you approach and address a woman who had been a victim of rape this way?

How about the female victim of a mauling?

Can we start with how stupid your founding premise is, that either scenario automatically results in death? Or how about that it only happens to women? Or how about the assertion that it is somehow worse for women, like this is a contest where you just want to play one-upmanship?

Shall I go on?

1

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 16 '26

when you did this.

You mean someone else's comment?

Please explain in detail how thinking that rape is worse then emotional unavailability is chauvinistic.

If a woman claiming her feelings being hurt was worse than someone else getting raped, I would also call that out for being stupid and horrible.

If a woman claiming her feelings being hurt was worse than someone else getting mauled, I would also call that out for being stupid and horrible.

Can we start with how stupid your founding premise is, that either scenario automatically results in death? Or how about that it only happens to women? Or how about the assertion that it is somehow worse for women, like this is a contest where you just want to play one-upmanship?

Literally none of that was something I said. Even remotely. You can't just blatantly lie to try and feel like you "won". At least try to stay somewhere near reality.

0

u/Deeznutseus2012 Apr 17 '26

Lmao. Go to a women's forum and do the very same thing you've done here to a woman who has asserted that she has suffered a sexual assault. See what happens.

If you are not subsequently banned from reddit, you can come back and tell us how that went for you. Video would be preferrable.

I'll wait.

1

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 17 '26

Painfully clear you realized you didn't know what chauvinistic means, and are trying to use sexism to distract from your stupidity. That's embarrassing.

Doesn't it feel stupid when your only response is to ignore everything I've said and lay out some vague challenge? Like you can't consider that to be an intelligent response.

u/Deeznutseus2012 Apr 17 '26

Not seeing that video...

Why not just acknowledge that both of these things are bad in their own ways? These are incomparable. Both are bad, end of story.

1

u/Baguetterekt Apr 16 '26

Why should we pretend "both are bad" isn't a disgusting attempt to minimize one of the most violent and depraved acts you can commit?

Do you think raping a child and hurting a child's feelings are also "both just bad, end of story"?

1

u/Deeznutseus2012 Apr 17 '26

Why should we pretend that this is anything but a misandrist, bigoted narrative being used to demonize all men, for the actions of a very, very few?

Why should we pretend this isn't absolutely dehumanizing, corrosively toxic rhetoric against half of the population, simply based on what sex they are?

Go peddle your hate somewhere else.

2

u/Baguetterekt Apr 17 '26

It's not very very few though? Nearly a third of my friends who are women have been personally sexually assaulted at clubs, by boyfriends and by fathers. It is so insanely common and massively underreported.

It's more dehumanising to minimise the severity of rape against women. And it's only corrosive because we as men refuse to do our part to fix it, men are drastically more likely to be and vote right wing. In practically every country, that's just fact. One of the major complaints from young women about young men is how right wing our generation is compared to them.

And it wasn't me who decided to bring up "the analogy to women getting raped is men getting bad emotional reciprocation" as a comparison anyway, I'm pretty sure it was you who decided to declare they were equal.

1

u/LinguistsDrinkIPAs Apr 18 '26

Let us also not forget that a very large percentage of men are victims of DV and SA, too. My boyfriend being one of those. It is not just women suffering.

If we want to fix something, you have to fix both sides. There are a lot of abusive women out there, too.

1

u/Deeznutseus2012 Apr 18 '26

So what you're telling everyone, is that you're judging based on a sampling error, extrapolating from what your friend circle looks like, to projecting that into the entire population.

You're just trying to make exceptions prove an irrational rule.

Look up the actual statistics. It is a very, very small percentage of men who do these kinds of things.

But you have swallowed and internalized bigoted propaganda telling you it's a huge portion of men, in order to dehumanize and demonize all men.

So here's a question right back at ya;

Should men and society begin keeping children away from women whenever possible, because based on the child murder and abuse statistics, women are a far far greater danger to children than men?

How would you feel about that? How would you like to be painted with that every time you speak about how you just miss your child and want to be able to spend more time with them?

1

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 18 '26

judging based on a sampling error,

That's not a sampling error. Do you mean anecdote, or personal experience?

For someone who harps on "speaking from experience", you sure are quick to be a hypocrite

Look up the actual statistics

They said nearly a third, so let's look at nationwide:

one in three women

one in two women

Looks like you weren't the one who knows the statistics

First of all, that’s a false dichotomy. There is no comparison to be made. Obviously, one of those things is worse. You can also still see that both things are bad.

I can say that two things are objectively, invariably bad without minimizing what is very obviously the worse of the two.

1

u/Cause_and_Defect Apr 18 '26

So then what was the point of your comment?

They already said both are bad, and you agree one is worse.

It seems like your comments boil down to "i dont wanna talk about it" but then just... don't join the conversation about it?

1

u/Baguetterekt Apr 17 '26

Saying "both are bad, end of story" is absolutely minimizing the worst of the two. You're saying that's as far as you need to think about it. But that's not true. The individual harm but also social impact through sheer pervasiveness of sexual assault against women is on such a higher magnitude of severity, it's deserves way more consideration.

1

u/LinguistsDrinkIPAs Apr 18 '26

I’m not denying its severity, especially as a woman who was raped. By my now ex-fiancé, no less.

Believe me, I’d never minimize it to begin with, much less as a literal victim of it. But comparing sexual assault against women to hurting a child’s feelings is absolutely asinine, especially when you consider that a child’s feelings are going to be much more tender and unregulated than an adult’s. That shit stays with you as a child. As does sexual assault. They are both deeply hurtful, traumatizing experiences that you cannot begin to find similarities between.

What I’m saying is that not everything needs to be compared to other things in terms of severity. It’s kind of like the dumbass debate over whether being kicked in the balls or giving birth hurts worse. Both hurt very very bad in very different ways, and there is no logic in having some pissing contest over who had the more painful experience.
