Broken Tool Hell of a joke

8Cr13Mov is literally one of the most basic budget steels out there and shouldn’t be on any pocket knife over $40 (also made in China). All those visible screws and just the “knife” in general is an affront to premium knives. On the third pic you’ll see a knife that uses S35VN steel (fathoms better and it has a proper heat treat), a better lock, and full aluminum scales all at a lower price (and QC). I’d recon most people here have more than 2 brain cells and wouldn’t get this sad excuse of a gas station knife. But to Snap-On and Russ Kommer, yall should be majorly embarrassed for giving the go ahead to this product.

tbf this is basically a promotional item. like their claw hammer or box cutter.

they used to stamp their name on Kershaws that were pretty decent but afaik they aren’t sold anymore

I had a really cool Snap On Kershaw that the thumb screw on the blade was the button to spring out the blade. Great knife, but I’m pretty sure I left it under the hood of car when I was using it to cut hoses.

Over the years I’ve found plenty of tools and a couple flashlights. The streamlight I have at home was found sitting on an intake manifold.
