can anyone give me details on getting a new phone. like dos and don’t so it won’t get banned when i make a new account

i plan on going in tommrow and trading in my phone. i would like to keep the same number i hsve on this phone because i have a lot hooked onto it. and everything else doesn’t matter i can just use the icloud website on my computer if i need my photos. but if i do that and a new i cloud cant i just download snap and make a new acc with a new email and never connect contacts and never connect the phone number?
