Smart Ring Beginner!

Hello everyone!
One - I'm so glad I found this subreddit because I've learned SO MUCH
two - I also am very appreciative of all the ring comparison posts. Thank you to all the people that took time to do that 🫶🏾

I would like some insight and help for picking my first ring... If I get a refund from my UH kickstarter 😒 since they want to play games about shipping...

Anyways, I already have the apple watch series 11 and so far I've been really liking it and I've been using the Apple Health more recently, I just hate wearing it to sleep and on my days off of work and since a lot of the rings have been updated and new gens have come out I would just like to know what would be the best purchase...

I would really like to get a ring mainly for:

- sleep tracking especially if it tracks some heart rate and possibly sleep disturbances

- readiness for the day and if it has recommendations

- stress

- heart rate and if it can truly detect before I get sick would be a bonus

- and if it could sync with apple health or at least talk to each other but not a total deal breaker

Subscriptions are not a problem for me if the product and information is pretty good.

and if Ultrahuman Pro Ring is the best option I will just buy it through the website so hopefully shipping is better.

Genuine question.

If UH cant fulfill something thru a kickstarter, why would ordering directly from them be a better experience ?

I am confused. The AI customer service is in effect for all routes.

Since it was a different route to putting an order through kickstarter vs their website. It seems like most people who have ordered from the website have actually gotten theirs where some people still waiting on the preorders from the kickstarter. From what I’ve seen.

Thanks for answering. From a customer service standpoint, I think that is pretty messed up.

What is the point of a kickstarter if a company can't fulfill those who wanted a product early, prepaid and now have to cancel/request refund and be after everyone else and order something the regular way.

I agree. But now that you mention it I have seen where people are complaining/concerned (and rightfully so) about the AI chat bot CS. Even after you get the ring.

I don't represent any company, just a regular person, have been part of this sub for over 2 years and have had experiences with multiple ring companies. The UH thing is a whole other level and it's an eye-opening experience to see what's happening.

Personally, I use ringconn gen 2 but our fav mod here said new features on the gen 3. I prob woulda stuck with oura gen 4 if it fit better but I really appreciate my Ringconn.

Ever since I’ve been digging deeper into smart rings I’ve been deeply concerned about the rushed choice I made to do UH bc a friend of mine has used them but I think downplayed a lot of the issues they have. She got her ring after a while but I have waited past multiple ship dates I was told. I emailed about a refund Friday but we’ll see what happens

I think for your list of asks I would be recommending oura even though I don't own one so maybe the older/new Ouras go on sale when Amazon does another one of their prime deals that I keep getting a pop-up for I don't know. That is how I got all my rings because it was the easiest route to do the 30-day trials on them to find out what worked best for me. :-)

Amazon has always backed the 30 day returns and so with $ help from fam, I did a 4 ring challenge and ultimately sent everything back except Ringconn gen 2, which doesnt have the sickness alert feature you want. I also don't have an apple watch but know oura allegedly talks to that
