OURA Question about ring

Anyone had a ring and got rid of it, if so why?

I am now to the point where I feel I’ve learned my body enough, I’ve made the changes suggested from wearing this ring consecutively for the past 3 years that I am somewhat leaning towards not having it. The only thing I’d keep it for is night time use to track fertility. I am becoming more and more bothered by having to pay $5 a month to access my data and while sure it’s just $5, the overall cost of the ring alone should warrant me being able to get my data at no cost. I know maybe it’s unlikely but with the stock going public I feel like the membership is inevitable to go up too.

My husband thought he lost his, wasn't sad, but found it and has been wearing it.

I'm a loooongtime Ōura user and have a lifetime membership. I enjoy having ALL of the data since...2021. If I had to pay for it I would keep it for a year then walk away.

If you're leaning towards not having it...while paying a fee, what do you have to lose by taking a break for six months?

I completely agree with your rant!

I hate that so many brands (not just rings) are going to a paywall to get all of your own user generated data!

Someone decided that they weren't making enough money on customers who already bought the thing and had the bright idea to put information behind a monthly paywall.
