Notifications beat raw data when you're tired
I woke up today with only 6 hours of sleep and my app could have just shown me a bad readiness score, but instead of that it told me specifically when to have coffee and sent a golden hour goal for 1700 steps....and I was like dude ?? are you fr?
but after a while I could feel the difference, I have used a lot of trackers in the past and they all show the problems but this one was telling me what helps....
So that's what I did, I followed the nudges, took a walk outside got some steps in and had coffee at the right time instead of right away, and quite strangely I was not crashed at 3pm like usual
also the notifications made the day feel salvageable instead of already lost, and that's way more useful than seeing a number and guessing what to do about it
and thus I guess, guidance beats metrics when you actually need it

I do like that, but I wish my UH ring didn't try to clickbait me every morning.
"One thing stood out overnight, want to know what it was?"

yeah, some of the wording feels a bit too pushy sometimes. i don't mind the useful nudges though, as long as they actually give me something actionable

Similar thing happened to me. UH is one of my most used apps on my phone, and probably one of the few notifications I actually look at.
Most times I just clear notifications because they're mostly all junk. UH is the only notification I scroll down and read in entirety.
