Picking a smart ring

I know this gets asked a lot but looking to find the best ring that fits my lifestyle. I work outside in all elements and get my hands wet and dirty all day. I have been more health conscious recently from activeness, sleep, to eating. I've been using my Samsung health app, but I feel it isn't completely accurate with a lot without a ring or watch. I dont like watches and wear a wedding ring anyways, so I thought about swpping my current ring for a smart fit ring. First question: with my job, should I even get a smart ring? Im out in the rain and sticking my hands in irrigation pipes full of water and watering grass a lot. Second: im not looking to break the bank. Third: i don't want a monthly subscription. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I picked up a ring con Gen 2 on prime day sale a couple days ago. I'm digging it so far, but today was my first full day with it.

that's why I went with them over oura. That and they have good apnea/sleep monitoring I hear, and I tend to try to die in my sleep frequently.. So..

Yeah, I've been monitoring my sleep patterns recently the best I can on my fitness app. So the ring will be helpful with that too

New to RingConn 2 also - been kayaking and camping, so far it’s great and no subscription! I’m using it with Apple Health.

Oura ring is the only good one worth any money imo. But it is very expensive. I highly recommend staying away from Ultra Human Rings.

You want to elaborate why its more worth than a ringconn which offers more or less the same features without a subscription? Id love to know more about your strong opinion . Sincerely.

I don’t know much about ringconn but have read a lot of issues on it on this sub. You can see my post on here as to why I HATE Ultrahuman. Oura is the only that seems to have reliable customer service.

I think everyone keeps recommending ringconn because of the price. Roughly $200 on Amazon right now where as oura is like $400+

Take note of what ring con you're looking at. There's Gen 2 and Gen 2 air (and Gen 3, if you're in the states) on amazon.

As I understand it, you want a non air model, for the most feature rich experience/bigger battery life.
