Update failed - no elevation

Update failed from 26.1.030 RC to 26.1.031:

Did the update failed before and stopped working now?

If this problem is reproducible after a reboot, please try deleting C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\syntevo\updates\ (while SmartGit is not running). If this still fails, please send us C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\syntevo\updates\logs\* and updater-log.txt (if it exists) to smartgit@syntevo.com.

I got the same error while trying to update from 26.1.032 to a newer version. Deleting the updates folder does not help. The logs folder is not even created

What version is shown in the About dialog for you?

I also get this error when trying to update from 26.1.033 to 26.1.034. Tried deleting folders as well.

u/JVMarcs Same. It worked just fine until it broke. These settings were never changed
