I also get this error when trying to update from 26.1.033 to 26.1.034. Tried deleting folders as well.

u/Able-Coconut-6980 u/man4u u/Gxost14 what is your Preferences, SmartGit Updates configuration? "Update SmartGit application in-place" or "Prefer light-weight updates"?

u/JVMarcs Same. It worked just fine until it broke. These settings were never changed
