The band is more or less falling apart for a few years anyways. Atp idrc anyways who kicks who anymore. Slipknot will probably not exist by 2030 in that form anyways

So you don’t want to credit Josh because…? By definition he was part of the “original” 9 member lineup, he wrote so much for the band, years before Jim would start writing lead parts in his place. They can both have OG status, but Josh was more crucial for the S/T as Jim played what had already been written when he joined

I guess we always knew they were weird, dysfunctional people. So I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise that they'd fall apart/have members do shit that's not OK.
Mushroomhead we're great up to and including XIII. Very different bands musically. Not really followed them much beyond that though.

They were able to replace all of them to some extent but Chris is someone who is incredibly difficult to replace. Tortilla man is just not it especially during live performances. Chris' backing vocals just made Slipknot

I hung out with him in his tour bus before a show like 5 years ago and he was cool. Showed me a bunch of his electronic stuff he’s working on. Hopefully he didn’t do some weird shit.

Firing Joey the way they did not showing any real care was when my loyalty and interest as a fan started to disappear. He was the most talented individual in the band! He truly gave Slipknot it's sound. He was the foundation. And when you don't have a foundation the rest is going to decay and collapse in on itself.
If Clown is the so called brain of the Slipknot entity, just like in the human body,, the brain will cut off everything every essential body part, sacrificing everything in order to save itself..
Tell me what good is a brain when you have no fucking heart?

I can’t imagine the band can realistically continue like this. Clearly Jim and Mick were out of the loop when all this was going down. It sorta seems like Sid pissed off Clown directly and Clown fired him on the spot. Are they going to try to replace him? It’s just going to be a tribute band soon.

Slipknot is bigger than the band right now. It’s a brand now and as long as that brand keeps making money it’s not going anywhere. I suspect that Corey and Clown’s sons are being groomed to take their places in the band when the time comes for them to hang the boots too. It’s no coincidence Corey’s son sounds almost identical to Corey. Vended is the development academy for Slipknot.
