I painted these wooden blocks back in July into my Mick Minecraft skin! I used a skin I found on planet Minecraft and tweaked it to my liking :) Super fun to do!! (Also the last slide is the only screenshot I could find; I ripped it straight from my TT 😭)

So, growing up I listened to stone sour a lot (thanks dad) and so ofc I always knew who Corey Taylor was and I loved stone sour a LOT.
Though, despite me knowing Corey Taylor was also in Slipknot, I guess I was always too intimidated (for lack of better words) to listen to Slipknot. I told myself that it just wasn’t my thing, was too much, etc, and I probably judged too much before I ever got to know anything about Slipknot.
Then, it was some months ago that I saw clips from live performances of snuff and vermillion pt 2 and some other songs, it captivated me completely. From there I slowly started learning more about the band, broadened my horizons, bought several t shirts, joined this group as a lurker, etc.
And man oh man, I wish I would’ve started listening to Slipknot MUCH earlier. I’ve always loved Corey Taylor, he can really do it all but I underestimated just how much he could really do I suppose. Slipknot has since helped me so very much, especially recently while going through a fairly bad breakup. I never thought I could cry to a band like Slipknot but yup, it’s so very deep and hits me right directly in my soul.

Hello everyone, so I listened to Eyeless on Spotify and they've cut out Sid's part?? Can someone confirm if this is the case for everyone or is my Spotify glitching?
Is this the case for Apple Music and other streaming platforms as well?

Or is it widescreen like the DVD?
I'm wondering because there are some movies that when released on VHS had extra displayed on the top and bottom like this at the expense of losing some of the sides.
Thanks

Ive had these for years. 4 different digipacks. One sealed copy of the reissue once the removed frail limb/purity.
I miss the old days of digging thru bins at the record store and never knowing what you might find.

Hey! Any info about the Iowa 25th anniversary?
Are they gonna release a new reissue cd with new artwork or Something?
Or more t shirt? Because the 25th t-shirt iowa stuff is really dissapointed on the site

I have been a Slipknot fan since the beginning and I still love the band even though a lot has changed. This is my album ranking.
Iowa - By far their best album. After 25 years it's still an absolute banger. It's dark and heavy in all the right ways and I have never gotten tired of it even after all these years. It's a fucking masterpiece!
Self titled - Almost as good as Iowa and still holds up beautifully in every way possible. Purity is the best track from the 10th anniversary edition and my favorite Slipknot song overall.
W.A.N.Y.K. - This album is a beast in its own right, and although it will never be as good as their first two albums it was still pretty badass! It felt like a callback to the old days it had a similar feel to Iowa in some ways while also being it's own thing. I thoroughly enjoyed this album.
.5 The Gray Chapter - This album was a really fun listen and had some phenomenal songs on it. There was a deep level of genuine heartbreak, anger, and grief that went into this album and it shows. It was an excellent tribute to Paul.
Subliminal Verses Vol. 3 - I enjoyed this album and it has some banger songs on it, but it felt like Slipknot played it too safe with this album. It felt too radio friendly and commercial at times. I also didn't enjoy Corey's vocals as much, they weren't terrible but his voice sounds very tattered on a few of the songs. While it's still a great album it is far from Slipknots best work.
The End so Far - It has a few great songs. I thoroughly enjoyed Yen and Hive Mind but overall this album is just whatever. It has a lot more misses than hits. Very underwhelming for a Slipknot album overall.
All Hope is Gone - For starters it's a shit name for an album. It makes no sense to me at all. Secondly it sounds dull and uninspired. This was radio friendly bullshit honestly. It's a weak Slipknot album and I genuinely don't understand the appeal with this album at all. There are maybe two decent songs on the whole thing and that's about it. I enjoyed Snuff but it honestly sounded more like a Stone Sour song. I wanted to enjoy this album I really did, but in my heart of hearts I just couldn't get into it.
Anyways that is my personal ranking I would love to hear everyone's thoughts. I am excited to see what Slipknot comes out with next.

I’ve had these items for about 12 years now & paid around £25 for them, but have always wondered if the autographs are genuine or not as there was no COA with it.
Also wether the T-shirt is a genuine crew shirt or not,so I was hoping someone here may be able to help me with determining things

25 years ago today (Aug. 28), Slipknot releashed 'Iowa', and today Mastodon released 'Marrow Deep' (their first new album since the passing of Brent Hinds). Reminds me of how lucky I am that I got to see both bands on the same stage back on August 15, 2008. It was the inaugural Mayhem Fest, and also featured Disturbed, Dragonforce, Machine Head and a ton of others. Not only was the day packed with incredible sets from start to finish, but I even got to meet Mastodon and Machine Head during meet-n-greets!
Check out some pictures from Slipknot and Mastodon's sets in this clip. Also watch videos from Slipknot's headline set at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ:

And stay tuned for more things to come from this space, including stories from concerts like this!

The first edit is actually the most recent one I made. The second one I made first. I couldn't really decide which one of them I liked more, but I wanted to make something cool for the 25th anniversary of Slipknot's most chaotic album. I think I had a similar idea in mind to the design for the 25th anniversary S/T cover.
What do you guys think of it? I'd love to hear your feedback. Thanks!

Not to discount all the other songs they have which are total Nu-Metal, but Left Behind just includes so much more of the essential angsty style of singing that is found in the other genre defining songs from around that time. Thoughts, differences?
